      I second this sentiment, I would watch him on the cooking channel haha. It's one of the best things about the times we live in now, we get creators like this who share with us from across the country and the world, impossible even only 35 years ago when I was born haha.

    Marinade sounds great. I usually leave these in the fridge overnight. I agree with the others , how about that Pico deGallo recipe.

    $10.19 a pound for flank steak at Costco in Hawaii, I bought 5.46 pds. $46.57, I'm doing 1/2 pd. vacuumed sealed bags, should be 11 of them, it's only me and my wife, 1/2 pd. is plenty for tacos or taquitos, which is my favorite, looking forward to trying out your marinade 🤙

      4.57* pds, I weighed it on my scale and read 4.0 pd. I checked the calibration of scale too, finger pushing going on over there.🤔

      0:49 The packaging plastic stuff can't weight .57 pds.😮

    I would absolutely love a habanero pico recipe. Sounds amazing! I am also wondering if there is any way to make use of the leftover marinade? Seems a shame to waste all that flavor. Could I use the excess for a slowcooker pork butt or brisket?

    • @ChiliPepperMadness
      @ChiliPepperMadness  Месяц назад

      I've got a recipe that's very similar to a habanero pico, it's Yucatan Habanero Salsa, or "Xni-Pec," and you can check it out on the website! www.chilipeppermadness.com/chili-pepper-recipes/salsas/xni-pec-habanero-salsa/
      Using the leftover marinade in a slow cooker sounds interesting, give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

    The combination of chilies and citrus does wonders in a marinade. Perfect example Mike!

    Overkill… all you need is lime, salt and pepper (or a steak seasoning that’s salty)
