As a Connecticut resident for the last 20 years, I can confirm that we have never seen the sun.
Especially the winters. We freeze and never see the sun it's the most depressing part of the year. I'd say March counts as winter too.

As someone born and raised in Connecticut I can confirm that winter makes up about 95% of the year, and if the sun touches us we disintegrate into a pile of pumpkin spice.

The discussion about soft crab made me laugh so hard
Georgian here: Just wanted to clarify for those at home that it's true that a lot of pimento cheese sandwich filling is indeed made with cream cheese that just as much uses mayonnaise instead of cream cheese. Either way is good, but the MOST important part of that is you get a good BLOCK of cheddar* cheese and shred it yourself. It makes all the difference not having all the anti-caking agents in packaged shredded cheddar. If you don't use a block of pimento cheese will also not want to homogenize it into a single thing either.
This is genuinely interesting to me. I love pimento cheese and I've had arguments about it's ingredients. Make mine with mayonnaise or even Miracle Whip. Know one person who SWEARS it's made with ammerican cheese which is a horrifying idea.✌

From Vermont here! Classic vermont sandwich is turkey, apple, and sharp cheddar cheese. Sometimes you’ll also see applewood bacon on it instead of apples though.
