I’m not a big fan of onions or burgers but I started to go to burger king and order onion rings with my burger. They are amazing!! I dont know if it varies much from country to country but i’ve tried it in 2 countries and both where really good

Burger King onion rings aren't bad at all, but I'm pretty sure they form minced onion into a ring for the center. If Rhett and Link noticed it, I think they would find it very disrespectful to the onion.
I work in a factory that makes onion rings almost exactly like the ones served at BK and you are correct. The onions are chopped and then mixed into a chunky paste. They then are extruded into the small ring shapes, battered, breaded and fried.
I remember as a kid my mom was obsessed with BK's Onion Rings. I was never a fan, but I always remember, if we went to BK, she had to get those Onion Rings! 😄
Funny story, last time we got Dairy Queen we got a box of onion rings but not what we expected, they gave us almost a pound of onion rings there was that many in one box and they were HUGE!
That's like Sonic. If you order a large it's like $2-$3 so you don't expect a huge order just a big order I guess. But it's soooo much! Like double the size of a large fry 😂 I only get large size when sharing.

I once had BurgerKing onion rings in Germany, and that was the saddest onion rings I ever had. They were eatable, just not wow.
