I loved Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman as a kid. If you didn't see it it's basically about an anthropomorphic dog who wants to become a TV host. So he had his own game show where he calls 12 kids from all over the country (they change every season) to do things like learning how to cook, sell items, river rafting, etc. Now only 6 kids get to do the challenges while the others stay behind and watch their progress. Then the 6 who stayed behind do a half-time quiz show where they answer questions about the stuff they've learned from they're friends' progress. After the challenges are done they come back and he tallies up points with each kid and at the end of each season we find out which kid gets the grand prize. I always loved because the challenges were really fun to do. He also has a hamster and an anthropomorphic cat as an assistant.
