Here in the states at least, there is one major advantage that the Moto G7 (and it's siblings) hold over most of it's competition: band support. The Moto G7 supports pretty much all the networks both CDMA and GSM and in my case with Metro it supports even their latest LTE bands. All the other phones only support the bare minimum to operate (with some lacking the ability to connect to CDMA). If you live in a huge city like LA, then this won't really matter to you. However if you are constantly inside buildings or live in smaller cities and rural areas, these bands can mean the difference between barely having a signal and having a strong consistent connection. I wish more reviewers took that into account.

Does it have a light sensor to brighten the screen when going outside? I wish they still made matte black non shiny phones. The shiny gradient eye candy phones look horrible imo.
I had a Moto G5 which I loved, but it's low memory caused me a lot of problems, which eventually killed the phone. Can I be sure the G7 will not have the same issues?
Yes snapdragon 632 processor with 4gb of ram that doesn't deal to slow your multi apps down, running at 1.80ghz this phone will do most good job and as long it works. 64gb built in storage, thats alot of apps picture video recording to save. My phone is motorola one Action that has 128gb of storage 4gb of ram. My phone doesn't have any lag and no memory to cause alot of problem.
I don't know what speaker or headphones you were listening to, did you talk about Dolby stereo included in the Moto g which sounds absolutely fabulous with headphones, probably can't find it in much of the competition!

Here we are in 2020 and you can easily get this phone through OfferUp or Facebook marketplace for $100-$150. At this price point it is incredible. Battery brings me through one full day but never any more than that which is okay because it charges very fast. Speed is good, no lags or freezes. I definitely recommend this phone in 2020 Camera is good but not perfect, it's a typical Motorola thing no matter what phone you have, everything is always over saturated/over exposed so you will have to manually adjust that, unless you download Gcam which improves the cameras.
Lenovorola is easily at least 1 year behind the competition. It's only March, and by Summer, the budget segment will get saturated again and will surpass this obsolete thing for sure.
Overall, it's no where near as good as an iPhone and it would sure be nice if just one of these had an explanation of how to use it rather than some fast talking young girl blah, blah. Invest in a piece paper with an introduction and I would buy in the future but no more androids for me.
The G series started something special, with the great device for great price ethos. However, there are so many great phones in the same price bracket these days.

Fingerprint in the front so you can use it to move around the phone due to its gestures and eliminate that bad looking buttoms at the bottom. Speaker at the front, 3 nice microphones, nice camera. I don't have anything else to ask for. It's design is also pretty smooth and beautiful.
I just got the G6 and already I want the G7. But you've used both and you prefer the G6? Maybe I'll hold off then ..
@@johnp3390 no, i didn't say I ever used the Moto G7, but anyways, i still think that the upgrade is not worth it
4:53 what city is this ?
Does it have a light sensor to brighten the screen when going outside? I wish they still made matte black non shiny phones.
The shiny gradient eye candy phones look horrible imo.
I bought this phone when It came out and i still use it. No problem whatsoever
I like yours style see you next time😄
I wish you'd covered the Moto G7 Power in your review.
Please review Moto G7 power.
I'm playing xbox game pass games on my honour phone that cost 120 I'm looking for another android phone this 1 is 100 cwid in argos sim free at mo ds it have Bluetooth so I can use my xbox controller?
does it play pokemon go well?
Well enough
Here we are in 2020 and you can easily get this phone through OfferUp or Facebook marketplace for $100-$150. At this price point it is incredible.
Battery brings me through one full day but never any more than that which is okay because it charges very fast.
Speed is good, no lags or freezes.
I definitely recommend this phone in 2020
Camera is good but not perfect, it's a typical Motorola thing no matter what phone you have, everything is always over saturated/over exposed so you will have to manually adjust that, unless you download Gcam which improves the cameras.
Is there an app I can download to take go pictures at night with this phone
I bought this phone 2 week s ago and it's still charged. It's a freak of nature.
Only 64
How much do u need? Ever heard of spotify and google photos
What's the best bang for my buck then?
a vegas escort
Are they available with a manly, monotone voice
@@dragline. I'm sure you can find the niche you seek. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Lenovorola is easily at least 1 year behind the competition. It's only March, and by Summer, the budget segment will get saturated again and will surpass this obsolete thing for sure.
I havent been dialed in this year what's good?
is this a g7 play or a g7 power
Overall, it's no where near as good as an iPhone and it would sure be nice if just one of these had an explanation of how to use it rather than some fast talking young girl blah, blah. Invest in a piece paper with an introduction and I would buy in the future but no more androids for me.
I have the g6, starting to act up,but I like g7 review so far
😥Really Lenovo Ruining The Moto Legacy 😶
Too bad the "better alternatives" don't work on verizon
There are no real better alternatives at this price point in the US for unlocked phones you can use with all carriers from what i can tell.
I like you video gsm arena
Love the pure speaker sound.
Redmi note 7 Pro Review?
Had a G4 two years ago and using a G6 now, great phones. On the other hand, the G7 doesn't seem like an upgrade.
Moto G1 here... lol. Almost 5 years using it but its time for an upgrade
The G series started something special, with the great device for great price ethos. However, there are so many great phones in the same price bracket these days.
My phone can't send pic on the regt message I use Xfinity pls helpp
And what is a good bang for my book, if this moto is not it? Caan you elaborate please!
Where is the power version
is this the Moto G7 Plus???
No
Question is if this phone is not the best bang for your buck then what is?
It really depends if you live in the US or not. If you don't then there's a lot of better options, if you do then there's not really.
why do is see a certain amount of darkness around the notch . or is it just me .
how do i get "the scoop" app off my g7 supra? it always pops up when i use my phone and is annoying as hell
This or the mi8 lite ??
No not a chance..this g7 is hideous .. but better go for redmi note 7 pro..
@@beatspopo what about the mi max 3, i know they are not on the same price range, but that giant screen is hella slick, i love it
