I actually prefer the 3.5mm jack at the top. in a shirt pocket, my phone is right side up, and when on my little phone stand, easier to plug in an aux cord for my home stereo.
Don"t need to make a fashion statement with my phone,...as long as it is quick, holds up for a couple years, takes ok pictures, makes calls, text, GPS. (The normal stuff) I'm good. Just ordered this phone. Thanks for the Vid!! I'll never spend more then $200 for a phone! Never have and never will.

I've had a Blu v70 for 3 weeks. $130. Micro USB is so stupid and camera kinda sucks but so far I'm highly impressed with how well this phone runs and works. We'll see over time but this thing is amazing for $130

I own morotorla one action for 149.99 best buy still on sale. You get 4k recording 60fps gameplay and reocrodjng. Memory hold 128gb Much brighter in daylight 2x brighter then g7 series not as bright as lg g7 flagship phone. App load much faster and smoother although playing pubg on the highest graphic tend to drop to 25 fps kind of lagging at a time. If you do picture then sunset or daylight look better real then motorla g7 series.
I have preferred Moto phones since the first Moto X appeared, as I like the clean Android software and the Moto Actions and Display features, which are very user-beneficial. Unfortunately, Motorola seems to keep growing the phones larger and larger, too large in my opinion. The Moto G5 Plus and G7 Play were the perfect size. Anything larger can be difficult to hold and operate in one hand, and are too bulky in one's front pants pocket. Why can't Motorola keep offering at least one current model with this moderately-sized form factor?

Just ordered one from Boost for just $67.83 with discounts to replace my 6yr old HTC Desire 816 from Virgin that Boost has now taken over. Don't really do all that other Stuff with my phone but I can't put Anything on the old 8GB HTC anymore with so little memory. Now all I have to do is figure out how to make the New phone look and operate like my old one. Wall[paper changer, sounds and a couple widgets with the Time & Weather. Hope that Boost didn't stick a lot of Bloatware on it as what attracted me to Moto is their Stock android setup without all the Junk.

In Canada they sell these unlocked for $200 at Costco. No bloatware that I can see. Honestly great phone for the price depending what your uses are. Camera is good,but don't compare it to a flagship. Really like the double twist to open camera,double chop to open flashlight. Speaker is a little lacking. Fingerprint scanner is instantly on. I'm a person who likes the plastic back cause it cheaper,& I have an otterbox. So high end looks mean nothing. 2ram I can get away with. Chrome,Facebook,RUclips apps open & still have .4ram left. So no lagging issues for me. Streamed a football game,& the battery never even got warm.

I recently became an Uber driver & the LG Rebel is heating up & running the battery down when I'm running the Uber App. The Uber app is so big that I had to delete some of my other apps. LG Rebel is a joke. Battery drains while plugged into charger and doing absolutely anything. 12 hour drive took 2 days because stopping to charge battery for maps. That phone is trash.

Hello, I'm considering moving to the G7 from a LG Stylo 5 that I'm not happy with battery life. In Your opinion How do these phones stack up. I'm currently using my Stylo 5 on a Tracfone plan and may switch the SIM to A Moto G7.
I bought this phone for a gift for someone.....and I noticed two problems (1) wifi connect is not great sometimes & (2) the speaker location is not great. But, great camera for budget phone.
I couldn't care less about the material of the phone's back. I never see the back of my phones since I always have cases on them. I would've appreciated if you talked about cases and whether they still allow you to use the rear finger print sensor.
I have this and just sold a iPhone 7 I was using as my daily. This phone isn't as smooth and the camera (1080P 60/4K) is worst than the 7. It's a decent phone for the price though. I plan to use my SE for photos

@South Ozzi surprisingly, this G7 Play. I paid £100 and I'm blown away by what you get for the money. I'm not a huge mobile gamer so that doesn't bother me, and the smaller screen makes it easier to handle ect. If you're on a budget, this thing will be hard to beat. Updated to Android 10 and no loss in performance.

I’m thinking about driving for Uber, Grubhub and other similar companies. I figured I’d get a pre-paid phone to use just for those apps. no suggestions but mine worked fine for the first three months then the screen started ghost touching and freezing along with the battery going bad

I am waiting for my Moto G6 Play to come in the mail. The G6's Battery Size is the main reason why I chose it over the G7 Play.

@South Ozzi surprisingly, this G7 Play. I paid £100 and I'm blown away by what you get for the money. I'm not a huge mobile gamer so that doesn't bother me, and the smaller screen makes it easier to handle ect.
If you're on a budget, this thing will be hard to beat. Updated to Android 10 and no loss in performance.

I just got this phone I'm really impressed with it for the price. I used my g6 till it died r.i.p. lol it resurrected as this. Mine has 3gb ram and slightly better specs idk mine might be newer version than the one you reviewed. Either way anything you need from a phone just about is here

Yea sure its good but you might want to chreck the motorola one action. Faster respond and able to take better camera and has 128gb.
