ANY "pet" get by the Oathbreaker Paladin skill worth barely more than temporary meatshield, as you get your next Long Rest, the spell broke, and you lose the undead follower. I am not saying, they cannot be useful, but in the end, they all just temporary disposable tools...
@@RUclipsChillZone Oathbreaker does have some neat uses...but they're niche or require specific gear pieces. Dreadful Aspect for example can be reliable AOE fear if you have the Shield of the Undevout equipped. For Control Undead, there are some very desirable undead targets you may want to control such as Death Shepherds (raise your own undead army lmao), shadow-cursed Kar'Niss (trick him into walking into it without the lantern), the Justiciar Crusader (only shows up from the Deep Umbral Tremor during Balthazar's mini war segment and it's technically a boss mob), Mystic Carrion's mummies, and That Which Lurks or That Which Watches (the 2 death knights standing besides That Who Guards). Another thing you can do is have a Bear Aspect Wildheart Barb with the Mighty Cloth to carry around a boss mob corpse around 300ish weight (underdark Minotaurs for example), drop said corpse into the Shadow Curse darkness, and have it reanimate as a Shadow-Cursed Undead which you can then control. Also works by throwing the Iron Flask into the curse which will turn the Spectator into a Shadow-Cursed Undead as well. The main thing about Oathbreaker is that it's boons are a lot more niche, in exchange for potentially being way more powerful if utilized correctly. Control Undead specifically is very limited and finite for things you actually want to take control of, but can potentially lead to hilarious amounts of likely-unintentional power until your Long Rest.
Little useless as they are only available late game; but if you go directly to murder tribunal and fight the Death Knights at the door, you can control either of the lower level Death Knights. As long as you end your day at a waypoint with nobody around (in my case Temple of Bhaal waypoint) you can long rest and port to that waypoint first thing and re-command your Death Knight. Also they use swords so they benefit from Aura of Hate so they can be pretty destructive all throughout Act 3. They just can’t go back to Rivington with you or the endgame area.
@RUclipsChillZone The entire point of going oath breaker is to abuse aura of hate. Combine it with warlock pact of the blade and you can dump your strength and max charisma. And then go ham on foes with smite and stuff.
Similar to the haste drink are raspberries which can be found in Act 1 and the Mountain Pass. They do not cost any resource to use in combat and cause a small heal, which can be used to proc things like the Broodmother Amulet, Bless Ring on heals, etc.
Just discovered this when exploring my equipment in honor mode when an early fight went south; saved my bacon. Same with the gruel from the old tiefling at the cauldron; she'll even give up to 2 (with proper dialogue options) to each hireling, as well. Also dwarf meat, if dark urge.
Additionally,if you're a spore druid you can use the boots that give 3 thp when healed to "recharge" your spore druid's thp (thp doesn't normally stack but this specific instance allows it). So with these raspberries, you can mid combat recharge your symbiotic entity without actions used
During my recent playthrough, during the battle at moonrise towers I noticed something that I hadn't before. After clearing the ground floor I went downstairs to clear out the prison as well. After doing that, when I came back upstairs, I noticed the knols that I had befriended shooting at the pilgrims of the absolute. This was weird to me because the pilgrims were not on the ground floor during the battle and because this really looked like an execution. A really unique interaction that I didn't know was possible. Thought you might find it interesting.
Something I recently learned the hard way: If you give Lae'zel the egg, but she gets kidnapped, even if you give her the egg back once she's rescued, you won't get the option to ask her about it in the epilogue. So if you want the Mother Lae'zel ending, you need to ensure that she's not the sacrificial lamb.
If she is kidnapped by Orin, the whole plot with the egg breaks down at end.☠️ It happened to me 3 times and I no longer have the strength to play this game
