Presumably "aid and comfort" might not be interpreted as what he did. And we are Americans so we always want to be very careful about disqualifying people because that can have a terrible unintended consequence for someone in the future

How could it be clearer? The gag order _bars Trump for commenting or causing others to comment on potential witnesses in the case, jurors, court staff, lawyers in the DA's office, and relatives of any counsel or court staff. He may criticise the DA and the judge._
