People often say that the original FSN anime isn't very good, but I think that the simplicity of it allows the emotional beauty of the story to have a greater impact.
Saber is the extreme version of a heroine who does't have time for relationships because of certain responsibilities just like in those high school anime dramas. Plus she thinks she does't deserve to be happy.
The rhythm feels so dark night memories embedded with inexpressible feelings yet breaches through my heart so positively .. I watched this anime during the initial vacation of last year of my highschool life.. Good old days..

Im watching fate/stay night now I first watched unlimited blade works and fate/zero. I really like the fate series my favorite character has too be saber so im really excited too watch this side of the series.

Sometimes nostalgic memories aren't good memories. If there is trauma involved with loss, we rarely get over it and memories are painful. Given how Shiro loses Saber I'm not sure he will ever get over her loss. He will certainly always miss her.
Shirou reunited with Artoria in Avalon thanks to Merlin's miracle, and to the other guys, Nasu aka the author said that all 3 Shirou won't become Archer because they have love ones and live an optimistic life whereas Archer is a loner that blindly pursuing his hero of justice dream without anyone helping him with his self-worth which lead to Archer selling his soul to "Humanity Collective Consciousness" and become it slave/executioner for eternity.
This song and Disillusion are so beautifully written and the vocalists did an amazing job of expressing the beauty and emotion of these songs. Even though Shiro is technically the main character I believe they were written from Saber's point of view. Alot like the way the theme songs from Heaven's Lost Property were written from Ikaris' point of view.
And I'll be here, again, within some years remembering how time has passed since the last one, and then, when I'll reach the end and I'll graduate I'll come back, It will be another night on summer, in which I will no longer worry about school or anything... It may be a little bittersweet. However, I still really like the fact that all that suffering, all that waiting was all as naught when they finally did reunite. When I heard, "I'm back, Saber" I about lost it. Still a beautiful ending.
@@glassydream581 It's a cliché ending for sure, but cliché is not necessarily a bad thing. I still enjoyed this game and the moments it gave me during a difficult time in my life. I'm still waiting for my ending scene anime adaptation, but who knows when or if we will ever get it.
big anime fan and I just finished this one today, great anime, all the way through was awsome, seemed there was more that the manga could probably have in it but for 24 eps I didn't once feel short changed. 2nd saddest outcome of a character, 2nd only to Teresa Claymore, love sabre. Cant wait to see the other Fates
