Make sure you taunt as you cross the goal line as often as possible. Even if it's just for a split second as you cross over it it gives a substantial point bonus for your gamebreaker.
NFL Street is a fun game, but NFL Street 2 has a true team building story mode in "Own the City" that is really incredible. The mode feature more team and individual game modes that make the gameplay less repetetive, like 1 on 1s, three flags up, etc. Its a more polished game across the board and would make for a much better series IMO.
I love seeing this game get more play in 2022. Definitely one of my favorites growing up. Make sure to utilize style points and turbo though, otherwise, it's going to be tough sledding.
‼️Run the ball, and stack the crap out of the RB with speed and agility and break tackle. I’ve played many many seasons like this as a kid and made many different teams but RB and Safety is your best bet as a User.
This video was a whole lot of fun lmao. Definitely make McNair faster because it seems like he keeps getting hawked from behind, also I agree about boosting Looman's coverage and maybe also Reddick's D moves if you do intend to keep using him as a rusher
Almost anything can be done with style(jukes, spins, pitches, dives, passes, etc). Get your players good at what they're position is supposed to be good at(stat that corresponds with they're position) and you should be good. 14, maybe 15+ is when the attribute is actually respectable. Good series
The West in this game is stacked with runningback talent and it makes it really difficult on defense early on. They also have some stupidly good linemen. I recommend building up McNair to be as reliable/unstoppable as possible and a db that can cover the whole field. Probably move Waddle to safety if necessary because range is important and he can actually catch picks.
Loving this series. Some big things that help a challenge team out is speed, speed and speed. If your LB and DBs are too slow you'll always get burned in coverage it's just a matter of time. I would use some points so start inching guys on defense into that green speed and agility stats.
Honestly your luck with the dropped INT opportunities is insane. Never played this game but when you have 3 players dive towards a tipped ball and nobody gets it, tells you how brutal this game is. Loving it though!
The way you had something to say on every try about just trying to get a stop against Portis and Denver had me rolling on the floor laughing 😂 😂😂. Love this series!!! Keep it up cane!!!
You are playing this too much like it is Madden. A big element of the Street Game Series is filling up that charge meter, and using it at key points in the game. Something you might consider working on as you progress in the game, plus the game gets really cool when you pull off a super charged play.
*Build up defensive stats with developement points; build up offensive stats with impact gear (+1/+2/+3 in attributes).* *Also, the taller your player is, the more likely they are to intercept a ball. The more they weigh, the easier it is for them to shed blocks/break tackles/pancake block defenders.*
You should really focus on making this team faster, especially at corner. Your defenders keep getting burned in coverage. That and D moves. Your offense is absolutely fine but you need to focus on defensive stops
You can use "Bluff Mode" by selecting a play by pressing the circle button. After that you scroll through the playback then press x. The play that you selected with the circle button is the play your going to run. Good content. I didn't think no one played this game anymore.
Hey Cane, something that will help you a lot on defense is using left trigger plus tackle. This is an aggressive and longer dive which will 1. force more fumbles, and 2. give you more range. It is a bit more risky because of missed tackle potential but when used right its a game changer
Definitely main suggestion not involving roster construction tactics would be make sure you use Style Tackles, Style Pitches, Style Passes, as well as the R1 Turbo Button.
When on defense, use the power tackle (L1 + square) to force more fumbles. It's a decent way to get a fumble or two in the early stages of the game when defense is damn near impossible
I'm so glad you're playing this game I miss it. It's so nostalgic to see it again! On a side note, this sparked a question would you be able to do a street 2 own the city playthrough series? It wouldn't be too long I don't think and would love to see you do a playthrough of it. Your videos are always entertaining, keep up the great content!
Been loving you playing my all-time favorite game. Games really used to be more difficult back in the day... An elite running back is OP. They get to the 2nd level so quickly then break first contact so often. There honestly isn't too much you can do about that unfortunately Keep scrambling with Reddick for more consistent chunks of yardage and remember to USE YOUR TURBO, especially on defense in pursuit and when there is a jump ball. As for upgrades, I'd say work on making one player elite in d-moves rather than spreading it around and do the opposite for tackling, spread that around evenly to everyone
Style +tackle is a huge thing in this game, it’s a really aggressive tackle that you can’t change the direction of, but it is much more likely to force a fumble. The CPU in this game is also insane, they will do everything they can to keep the ball alive even if it’s pitching it like 5 times, which is also an amazing opportunity to cause turnovers. And if you ever force a fumble while they are in the middle of styling and recovering it, all of the game breaker points they would’ve gotten, goes to you. I also remember in the AFC North, one of the challenges is that you have to pitch the ball 6 times AND, if I remember correctly, score the ball on that same play too, some of he challenges in this game are insane
@@tangilizer getting the 3 interceptions itself wasn’t too bad, but didn’t you have to do it in a 24 point game? That’s the part that made it so hard to do
Try using the stiff arm with x. When you boost run power stuff arm is ridiculous. Agility is for spin moves. Also increase catching and coverage on your dbs. Makes them insane and easy to get picks. Also use strong tackles. L1 +square. Helps get fumbles easier.
If you have a wide open lane, taunt. Even if you get caught, you can lean out of bounds just in case. If you have a huge gap… you can taunt and run to the corner until you are about to go out of bounds, then run in for the score. Speed kills in this game, but having everyone have catching ability can be OP, especially on Defense. Personally think Sulley could be a secret intercepting threat.
You can do style jukes as well. I love this game. I use to beat all my friends using the raiders, Charles Woodson is the fastest in the game, try an get him.
Style everything. Game breaker is well, it speaks for itself. Also there’s no such things as penalties so don’t be afraid to dive at a wide receiver to knock him off his catch path. I mean it’s street ball, you trying to play clean or win haha
I wouldn't mind you using save states on the ladder challenges. Having to beat all the teams in a row seems a bit ridiculous with how difficult the game is
Speed, *agility* and tackle across the board helps since defense = garbage and agility lets you jump up for those passes. That's why the NFL Legends (one of which you can steal if you beat them at the end) intercept so many passes. And yes, the difficult challenges (max dev points and +3 impact gear) are worth it 110%.
I'm playing this game in 2022 also and I have nba street vol 2 it's still fun and my son likes it too schooling him on the games I played when I was a kid lol
This game has potential to be your best series yet so please don't let the frustration of some challenges break you. They get harder but you'll always find a way. As for tips, SPEED KILLS. You need it for Sully and Waddell at the very least, Brightwood as well. You got beat so many times on Run after catch cause your guys arent fast. They have SOME speed but not nearly enough. DO NOT SPREAD IT OUT. One person at a time(prolly waddell) get them up into the green for speed. I might say sully honestly, he gets burned BAD. Coverage is nice but it doesn't mean anything if you cant run someone down.
It is so weird to me that decent looking 3d games existed 20 years ago. This game can almost legally drink and it was developed within my adulthood. Well shit
Use your linebackers for defense and you have to steal a good player to help your team out in the beginning and if you lose one game it doesn’t reset you can choose a different team
‼️SPEED KILLS TRUST ME😂 for offense and defense and not much you can do on defense except speed at wr and rb a little cover and then beast up a LB with speed and tacking but definitely upgrade the run blocking and run the ball when you can get his speed way up
When you look at the first part of your screen go to online. There are a few download videos. There are three tutorials of how to play the game properly. Also figure out how to do some style in your game.
The desperation “COME ONNNNN” by cane kills me every single time hahahaha
Make sure you taunt as you cross the goal line as often as possible. Even if it's just for a split second as you cross over it it gives a substantial point bonus for your gamebreaker.
I think if you hold the style button and your intended receiver, you get a style throw which gets you points. Also remember to use your turbo

The 2nd ones story mode is way better. This comment!! 👌🏼
I'm interested in going through the whole trilogy.
@@MrHurriicaneLP try to finish this if possible, the 2nd one is easier and better.
Idk man, theres just something about Street 1 that has me coming back for more.
While I agree on the own the city mode, I prefer the core gameplay in street 1. I didn’t care for the wall stuff
I know you’re struggling but PLEASE do NOT stop this series! It’s so damn good
I love seeing this game get more play in 2022. Definitely one of my favorites growing up. Make sure to utilize style points and turbo though, otherwise, it's going to be tough sledding.
My biggest suggestion would be do the harder challenges for 1000 dev points. They’re so rewarding in the quest to upgrade your team.
Attempting the same challenge for more than an hour was the NFL Street experience for me. This game is too fun!
‼️Run the ball, and stack the crap out of the RB with speed and agility and break tackle. I’ve played many many seasons like this as a kid and made many different teams but RB and Safety is your best bet as a User.
Smh I tried to tell him lockdown defense every play n blitz wit the ss or lb every play...QB has no time to throw...
This video was a whole lot of fun lmao. Definitely make McNair faster because it seems like he keeps getting hawked from behind, also I agree about boosting Looman's coverage and maybe also Reddick's D moves if you do intend to keep using him as a rusher

Yea a safety thats a good receiver and a fast or strong RB is vital in this game. You literally can’t win without those two things lol
Loving this series. Some big things that help a challenge team out is speed, speed and speed. If your LB and DBs are too slow you'll always get burned in coverage it's just a matter of time. I would use some points so start inching guys on defense into that green speed and agility stats.

I played this as a teen! Great game. When you picked the rams in the last game I laughed because I knew you must've gotten the time line mixed up.
I'm so excited for this series! I never really played Street much, but I know it's a great series!

I had this game for my PS2 back then, and I remember it pissed me off so much that I ripped the disk out of my ps2 and broke the disc in half

Man - I really love this game. Never played it, your series is first i am ever seeing it but looks so fun
18:54 bro what 😂
Please keep this series going this is amazing getting NFL Street content in 2022
So good to see this series the streets were so much fun would like to see street 2 it’s so in-depth own the city and other fun features
Dude I am really enjoying this series please keep it going
Just found your channel recently because I was randomly looking up nfl street stuff. Definitely play nfl street 2 story mode as well it’s even better
I’d recommend usering d line and prioritize upgrading tackling and d line moves, hope this series keeps going🔥
Street 2 is by far the best in the series. Love watching this game. Keep it up!
1 better
If you’re in good position on defense, press L1 and square at the same time to attempt a big hit and force a fumble.

This was always the game I would play whenever I'm mad. This is the game of the early 2000s.
Love the series. Kind of wish it was Street 2 instead though. I think it was the best of the 3
Been loving you playing my all-time favorite game. Games really used to be more difficult back in the day...

Anyone else lol at try 14 when the player said you recording and He said yep sadly 😂
Love the series, but hopefully, you continue even tho the views arent as high
love watching this its so nostalgic

You can do style jukes as well. I love this game. I use to beat all my friends using the raiders, Charles Woodson is the fastest in the game, try an get him.
I remember it being fairly easy to intercept if you take over a player in decent coverage and just spam the catch button.
Lets go. This my new favorite series
Do remember to upgrade the agility of your skill players because it increases the speed of spin/juke moves and your jump height
Style everything. Game breaker is well, it speaks for itself. Also there’s no such things as penalties so don’t be afraid to dive at a wide receiver to knock him off his catch path. I mean it’s street ball, you trying to play clean or win haha
Keep the street coming. Love it. Been here since 2012
I wouldn't mind you using save states on the ladder challenges. Having to beat all the teams in a row seems a bit ridiculous with how difficult the game is
Keep tapping X to break tackles sometimes
Speed, *agility* and tackle across the board helps since defense = garbage and agility lets you jump up for those passes. That's why the NFL Legends (one of which you can steal if you beat them at the end) intercept so many passes.

Style button and turbo button !!! They exist to be abused. Cpu does it and you wonder why they always have the game breaker ?! Love the series tho
You don’t have to go undefeated in the ladders Cane. But if you do go back to the challenges while the ladder is in progress, it resets then.
I remember using the street 2 video game plays as an actual playbook for real life street football
You got offense use your style points L1 and R1 for turbo and on defense tackle with L1 and square but great material
21:15 Minneapolis miracle v2
Got to run more in this game. Run with the QB also up there Carrying and Run power it will help.
Let’s gooo cane!!! Don’t stop this series !
Should've read that GameFaqs guide on this game mode ;)

loving this series
Imagine if the rebooted this game with qbs like Mahomes and rbs like Henry with all kinds of stupid flashy fun skills
R1= Sprint
Don't ever forget to Sprint
This could be a legit funny series
The Broncos are 13 time non shut out champions 😂😂
I loved this game so much. Only ever threw style throws.
Best way to play D is call 3 deep and blitz with the LB who is spying the qb
You have to power tackle when you have bad players
I really miss the nfl head coach series you had going on a while ago
I’m gonna need more of this series lol
The new NFL 2k thats coming around April will probably be kinda like this. Im very excited.
in my experience using all your tokens to steal a player was a pretty fast way to stack your team
Speed kills in this game, offense defense doesn’t matter, if you’re faster you’re better
It is so weird to me that decent looking 3d games existed 20 years ago. This game can almost legally drink and it was developed within my adulthood. Well shit
If you use some of the develop points, to some of your players agility. They will be able to jump higher to catch the ball.
Love this content
Loving the content! Keep it going Cane 🤟🤟
All speed into alan johnson 😂
this game is so hard man i swear. i been playing and getting far but bro i’ve almost smashed my controller
loving this content bud, i couldnt stop laughing at the ridiculous plays that are possible. thats all, i dont know the game. want more :)
Also, always an arugment to be made about giving it your all on 2 pt conversions. 22 pts is only a safety away.
You gotta use your turbo man😂
YOU HAVE TO USE THE HIT STICK LT + SQUARE GIVES YOU POINTS AND CAN STOP THEIR POINTS FROM ACCRUING
MR. CANE USE YOU TURBO!🤦🏾♂️😂
Use your linebackers for defense and you have to steal a good player to help your team out in the beginning and if you lose one game it doesn’t reset you can choose a different team
Got figure out style points game breakers are the key to the w against good teams
Love this!
Just an awesome series so far
You should also play NFL Street 2
This i like. More of this.
Gotta work on your gamebreaker. It will make eveeything easier. Skill move EVERYTHING
‼️SPEED KILLS TRUST ME😂 for offense and defense and not much you can do on defense except speed at wr and rb a little cover and then beast up a LB with speed and tacking but definitely upgrade the run blocking and run the ball when you can get his speed way up
Oh and go for the higher up challenges first so you can get a good start and then hit the ladder
This game is very unforgiving if you try to skip over the grinding
What emulator do you use? it seems to be running great.
When you look at the first part of your screen go to online. There are a few download videos.
