It is amazing what we can do with what we lready have. I would suggest one addition which requires very little space: several needles, a few small fish hooks & a few sinkers; & some dental floss or fishing line. That would be a means of procuring food & making repairs with a minimal sewing kit. Thanks for sharing.
Salut nice kit, as you say it pretty much covers everything and a cereal bar and stock cubes would be perfect. A bit of duck tape perhaps? A french suscriber
That's about as close to a perfect kit as I can see. I want to say "basic", but I think that would be taken by some as a small insult. It's " basic" as in it's all the proper needs as opposed to all the "wants". You have the basic three....knife, fire, and cordage. Everything else builds on those. Compass, shelter, first aid, water purification and bag etc. It's a kit that I would gladly buy for anyone that had no idea of a survival kit or preps and feel good about giving it. I have only said that once before. Twenty years ago, I would have purchased that for all the scouts in our troop. No troop anymore. As Raph-Vogue said, I'd add bouillon cubes, two coffees, two teabags, and two salt packets along with maybe four hard candies. I use iodine tabs as my water purification so I pack a few water flavor packets in my pocket. You've made a great kit, WG!
Recommend adding a SAK Hiker as a compact multi tool and an 8 oz metal cup so you can boil water in that instead of using the foil up. Also, some tea bags or instant coffee in individual sleeves would be good. Great kit overall.
Nice kit brother! Well done! It appears you covered all the 10 c’s of survival! It looks like you have a little room for expansion in the box. I would expand the medical kit a tad and I’d add a small fishing kit too. Maybe som waterproof matches and a small candle. Just a few suggestions! Thanks for posting!
Best kit I've seen in a long time. Better than store bought. By the way your knife is good one the rounded blade is used by a farmer to neuter animals.
Nice kit good thought put into it. One thing I would do is put ur first aid stuff in a ziplock bag that way u it's all in one spot. An more waterproof . N add more tinfoil. As normal tinfoil is very easy to ruin. Even heavy duty kinds . One thing i switched to is crafters aluminum.. its stil very pliable well its alot stronger. But very good job. I love making kits I do it all the time just don't have the guts to make a video.
You've got means for a fire, but if the matches get wet or the lighter does after you take it out of the package, a ferro rod would be nice to have. Also, I don't know if you added water purification tablets and a multi-tool would be useful. These things would take up minimal space
Dude be sure to put those water treatment tabs into everything. The aqua-tab aficionados will rage if you don't carry at least two with you at all times, or face the wrath of their pretentious bitterness. Put two alongside every single item inside that kit. I simply choose to boil instead, so here they come for me. LoL!

This looks already more like a useful survival kit that all the tiny little tinboxes I saw on much youtubers who show one.

Suggest putting things in small clear plastic bags to waterproof them, a water filter, cell phone charger ( one time unit is ok ) Thanks, subscribed
