There are certain artist and genres Anthony doesn’t understand. I don’t think he understands or catches Earls wordplay nor appreciates how his production helps facilitate his rhyme skills. There are other similar artists/takes where despite his amazing ability to appreciate and communicate his appreciation for music, I think a certain expectation of a kid delivery prevents him from fully appreciating the art. Lil Uzi Vert, sometimes J Cole, and even some of his Drake takes are the first that come to mind.

man I love Earl but everything after Doris sounds different, the delivery just feels lazy. Not saying it's bad, the bars are still great - he just had so much more life in his flow back in the WolfGang days. & goddamn do I miss those days. Mellowhype :(
