- Two 12-year-old boys have been found guilty of killing a 19-year-old man in a machete attack.
Shawn Seesahai was attacked on Wolverhampton's Stowlawn playing fields in November 2023.
He died from being stabbed with a machete, and being beaten, and kicked, which caused a fracture to his skull.
The boys are believed to be youngest defendants convicted of murder in Britain since Robert Thompson and Jon Venables, both aged 11, were found guilty in 1993 of killing two-year-old James Bulger.

These parents uprooted their entire lives to make sure their son had the best chance at life, and 2 children who didn't even know him took his life from him. I don't know what kind of society we live in anymore. My heart breaks for Shawn and his family.

There’s thousands of knife attacks up and down the UK every year and the majority of them are being committed by young people. Most of them don’t even make the news.

This is so sad and horrendous. I actually met the victim’s parents today at my workplace and I checked them in. I felt so disheartened and distraught for them. What really touched me and would stay with me was when his father said to me, “we have nothing against the them”. (Meaning they have nothing against the killers).Such a strong and admirable family, may God continue to strengthen and courage them. May Shawn soul rest in perfect peace❤️🙏🏾🕊️

UK has a knife issue. It’s a cultural one just like with America and the school shootings.
I must say tho if these boys are from the Caribbean then they are probably the descendants of slaves. About 1-2 generations away from slavery to be exact which isn’t a lot. Lots of generational trauma is passed on which could trigger mental illnesses or he was just born with one (who knows).
