I hope so, but it doesn't seem possible for me. With the rise of China, it is bound to carve up the larger piece of cake that the United States wants, so a certain degree of conflicts are inevitable, but historically, no national/alliance will always be at the top. Thus I just hope there will be no world war like before in the future at least, and every parties involved will communicate to solve potential dangers from the all perspective of technology, strategy or thought, , rather than through weapons and violence.

It seems like China has a very comprehensive environmental clean up program that has been in placed for awhile. Just that people like you and me don't know because it is not covered in the western media. Only recently I found out all the stuffs China has done such as China is the number producer of every imaginable renewable energy technology, wet park creation and sponge city , reintroducing endanger species all over China, develop aquafarm to produce seafood instead of relying on fishing, greening the desert. The list is so long I found out something new everyday.
Xie Zhenhua even received an award from the Nobel Sustainability Trust Foundation for his contribution to tackling the global problem and promoting sustainable development. You know how hard it is for a Chinese to win anything from Nobel prize related award especially in one area that need a lot of western media hype and politics. And China has kept doing this work on its own without the west. And the only people know are Chinese citizens since they directly benefited from these. In the US, this would never happen. So many very fun things to do in this excellent adventure in wonderful Wenzhou. It's so sad that the citizens of both our countries (China & USA) are always so worried about war with one another. I'm still naive enough to believe that the average person is peaceful and only wants happiness and a good life for family, friends, and the constant fear of war is largely a product of our governments and the media. I also wonder if all your hard work in protecting the environment will survive the obvious impending climate disasters. Sorry for the negative thoughts... Thanks for providing some optimism that there's hope to overcome the numerous difficulties the planet faces in the future.

If these politicians did not hate China, they would lose ballot. 不久前,习近平会见比尔盖茨的时候说,中美友好的基础在民间。然而事实是,中美关系恶化的基础正是在民间。The Sino-US relation will only get worse, and worse, till in the end a war which is inevitable.

I think I'm most impressed by the "night life" and how it's mostly seniors out dancing, singing and just enjoying life. I feel like when people mention night life where I am, it's mainly young adults out partying and drinking and all seniors are tucked away at home. It feels like it's better to be a senior in Asia than it is to be a senior in America
