The heads Batter - Remo Power Stroke 3 (Coated) Reso - Remo Fiberskyn Dampening - A small bath towel touching the batter head and another just touching the reso head Tuning - Batter just above flappy, Reso a touch higher than the Batter And then I have a Shure Beta 52 microphone just in the sound hole - but the kick sound you're hearing is heavily influenced by all the other microphones as well. These all have EQ and Compression on them too.
