It is a very comfortable ride. Just a bit lacking in terms of speed when u compare with other similar 1st world transit options. Definitely a good experience though
Thanks for your amazing vlogs that provide a sort of information for me. I'm a railway enthusiast. The GO train seems like a great experience to go to Niagara Falls. Our family will go to Ontario from Guangzhou, China, to live for two years.
Hi, thanks for watching, yeah we found out a few years back as well. Noone really mentioned what it meant so we researched it and saw that's what it stands for.
Hey Thanks. I see you are doing great in blogging Congratulations! You visited so many places yet subscribers and views compared to your creative efforts, unreasonably low! I couldn’t make out how is going on ! Try tagging and categorize your creative productions . You know strategies! Thanks

Great video. Thanks for the info. Just would add that they've removed the annoying barriers between seats. Also, some of the seats have outlets next to them, however make sure and test them as many outlets are dead. Liked and subbed. Gonna go watch some more of your vids. Cheers!
Nice! I learned a couple things.. who knew they had toilets? lol. I was looking today (June 2024) it looks like they run 2 trains on weekdays to Niagara. But weekend is better can get the pass.
Awwsome, glad the video helped a bit. Yes they do have washrooms. The weekend deal for the pass is a very good option for travel between Toronto and Niagara. Have a great trip !!
Hi Simone 👋🏼 Thanks for checking out the channel. Welcome to Ontario !! GO buses run from Union station every day to numerous locations across the province including Niagara Falls. There are also GO trains that run less frequently and Toronto Transit to get you around the city of Toronto. Feel free to reach out if you want any additional tips. Enjoy your stay !!
Great Video. Can you please tell me the name of the restaurant where you ate the burgers and tacos from in your Niagara Falls video? I can't seem to find that video again.
Hey, thanks for watching!! We had lunch at Shoeless Joe's sports bar and grill. It's across from the Hilton at bottom level of the Fallsview Casino Resort.
Okay that's new. Didn't know they had a car dedicated to bicycles. Usually 2 bikes were allowed on all non-accessible cars. When did they bring that car out?
Hey Lisa, so they added special bicycle coaches on the trains that run along the Niagara Falls and Barrie lines only on select weekends over the summer. It appears they started doing this back in 2020.
Ah that would explain it. I live close to Long Branch (Lakeshore E/W line) and Dixie (Milton line) GO stations. I used to use Long Branch regularly but since I started using a walker, I can no longer use Long Branch (no accessibility). I think they're going to have to rebuild Long Branch from the "ground" up like they did with Oshawa GO (new station house and everything though they didn't put a new garage there).
Yeah I agree; I'm familiar with the Long Branch station, it's definitely one of those ones that really needs some work. They are working on the Port Credit station currently (May be a new multi-level garage there, I'm not too sure). But hopefully they'll get to Long Branch next ? We'll see.
Hey, so the walk from the GO station to the falls itself is about 45 minutes. There is ample bus service from the GO station to Table Rock center by the falls. Its usually free on the Niagara WEGO transit. But if you want to travel around the rest of Niagara on WEGO transit then you will have to purchase a day pass or bus ticket. You can also bring your bike on the train and bike there depending on the season. You have lots of options.
I have payed my PST , like everybody else in Ontario . GO should be available to way more Ontario residences, not just the GTA , GO should run everyday to Niagara , all the way to Fort Erie .
Thanks for the helpful video. Is the WEGE bus to downtown Niagara Falls within walking distance at the Niagara Falls GO station? We do you buy the WEGE tickets from? Can I use Presto for WEGO bus? Do you know if there is a shuttle service from downtown Niagara Falls area to Buffalo Niagara Airport? You seem to be knowledgeable of the general area for public transportation.
Hey Eric, When you arrive to Niagara on Go Train or Go Bus the WeGo Bus will take you to the falls for free. You may have to wait a bit to get onto one though. After that you would need to buy a WeGo day pass ticket to continue riding it for the rest of the day. Niagara Falls is about 30 minutes walking distance from the Downtown core where the Go Train lets you off. But you can get there in less than 10 mins if you hop on a Wego Bus. As for the shuttle from Niagara Falls to the Buffalo Airport, I dont think there is one. You can however take Megabus from Toronto to Buffalo airport but it will have a lengthy stop at the border for customs processing. Buffalo airport is one of the Megabus stops on its trip from Toronto to New York City.
Hey 👋🏼 thanks for watching, no seat reservation necessary on the GO train you can sit anywhere. Only thing is that if you sit upstairs it's usually a quiet zone but that's the only restriction.
No problem 👍 It's actually not an app. I went to my browser and went to the Go Transit website. You can find the discounted weekend day passes here -- www.gotransit.com/en/travelling-with-us/promotions-and-events/weekend-passes-with-go
Enjoyed your video very much. Mainly because I lived in Canada in the late 70`s and used to take the Go train at Port Credit station to Union very often. I also went by train between NY and Toronto, but the opposite direction. Left Grand Central in NY with Amtrak to Union. Great memories.
Hi we are visiting Canada next month staying 4 nights in Mississauga and planning to go to the falls. Does the Go train run every day now and is it easy to get around the falls area. We are wanting to do the boat as well. We are also staying in Edmonton with family. We are from the UK. Thanks Angela
Hi Angela, thanks for watching. So there are trains on the weekend that goes straight to Niagara Falls GO station from Union Station in Toronto. But since you will already be in Mississauga which is 40 mins west of Toronto you can just hop on a train at the GO station in Mississauga. You can find tickets online at the GO transit website. If you are gonna head there during the week then you can either uber or take a bus from your hotel/lodging to Port Credit GO station in Mississauga. From there you will take the GO train westbound towards Niagara. If it's weekend there should be a train direct, if nor you will still take the train Eastbound and get off at Aldershot GO station. There will be connecting GO buses from Aldershot GO station to Niagara Falls GO station. Mississauga has multiple GO train stations so ensure the one you go to is Port Credit as that is the lakeshore line that connects to Niagara. When u get to Niagara there are WEGO Niagara transit buses that will pick u up at Niagara GO station and bring you directly to Table Rock which is literally adjacent to the Horseshoe Falls. This ride will be free but afterwards you will have to purchase a day pass if you intend to continue using WEGO transit around Niagara Region. Hope this helps, thanks again for checking out our channel.
Hi, so when u pay for the weekend pass you keep it on your smartphone. You can board the train freely and the train staff may come buy to confirm your proof of payment at which time you can show it to them.
I'm planning on going this weekend to Niagara falls. This is my first time on the go transit system. Did you show your ticket to an attendant or did you scan the bar code somewhere?
Hey 👋🏼 So you only show your ticket if an attendant asks to see it. Make sure to have it accessible in case they ask. Also the weekend day multitrip ticket you can purchase online for 10$ then you get an email to activate it and it will activate in 5 minutes. It's waay cheaper than the regular ticket which will run u about 30$. Enjoy your trip and thanks for watching !!

@@jerrivlogs Make damn sure it is weekday, weekend or holidays, further, make no mistake about rush hours or off hours on the day happens to take a Go Transit, trains or buses! Note that the scheduled time of one line, always not match other lines...making commuters wait to frozen...😨
Always tell the wife, an earlier time ! You can do the AMTRAK Maple Leaf from Toronto Union to Niagara Falls and back in a day. That's pretty nice having open seating to sit wherever, wonder if amtrak does the same
Yeah its always been like that
..first come first serve...I took Amtrak once in business class and it was open. Haven't took coach though.
Does this train run in the winter ? I plan to visit Toronto in November
I believe it runs all year round weather permitting
If you want to go during the week, you can take the train to Burlington GO station, then take a GO Bus from there to Niagara.
Kool...Thx 4 the heads up
Can we take from Bramalea Go Station ??

I can't say I don't feel u 😪 More definitely needs to be done to expand GO service across the province.
Instead they build useless ass stations like Bloomington
Hey! Leave Fort Erie alone. There aren't any student apartments so rents have remained reasonable.
