    Love the build. Im slowly working on building up my 85 4runner. What size bump stops are you using f&r? And was curious what you are using to cover the holes for where the rear shocks go through the floor? My rear shocks go through the floor as well. I don't have anything covering the gap between the shocks and the floor at the moment.

    • @Theee.Krisss
      @Theee.Krisss  Месяц назад +1

      Originally, the bumps are 4 1/2” but the bottom half was removed on the front. I also added spacers on the front and rear to adjust the bumps.
      I have these rubber boots (almost shaped like a plunger) that covers the holes. Not sure if I can send a pic here, but if you follow me on IG, I could send you a pic there.

    Great video. I remembered you posted on Instagram about putting in a new engine and transmission. You must have lots of money put into it and it is really worth it though.

    Niiiice…..i want to 3.4 swap my 89! Did you have to modify the hood …i heard the engine sits a little higher than the 3.0

    • @Theee.Krisss
      @Theee.Krisss  2 месяца назад +1

      I basically added spacers to the hood hinges that made just enough room to clear. There’s a gap but it doesn’t look bad at all.

      @@Theee.Krisss any reliable recommendations where to find a 3.4? I see them everywhere on marketplace and eBay….but just don’t know what i would be getting!

    • @Theee.Krisss
      @Theee.Krisss  2 месяца назад +1

      You can check your local pick and pulls/wrecking yards. Usually, they will make sure the engine is in good working order before selling it. And offer extended warranties as well.

    Such a sweet build. I’ve been following your Instagram for awhile. Out of curiosity how tall are you? I’m asking because I’m trying to gauge roughly how tall the runner sits. It looks nice and low

      @@Theee.Krisss that’s good to hear. I like that ruf pushes the axle forward. I’m hoping to not rub 37’s on untrimmed front fenders. Trucks going in for paint this month and afterwards I’ll be starting to build it. Hahah hoping to not ruin the new fenders…. For now🤣

    • @Theee.Krisss
      @Theee.Krisss  4 месяца назад +1

      @@cammk9415 Incase you do have to trim up your fenders a bit, just have your painter on speed dial. lol. I stuffed 40's under my Runner and stood my ground about not having to trim. I adjusted bumpstops and everything. But in the end I ended up having to cut a little bit off anyways. Sounds like you have a fun project ahead! Happy building!

    Why wouldn’t you balance your wheels 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

    • @Theee.Krisss
      @Theee.Krisss  4 месяца назад

      Beadlocks and big tires are challenging to balance. Most shops won’t even mount and/balance them. My buddies and I mounted them up in my garage. Nitto is one of those tires that require minimal balancing. Plus hydro assist helps with absorbing most of the vibration. I can comfortably do 60-65 highway with no issues.

      @@Theee.Krisss just add some balance beads or metal bb’s and it’ll be fine

    • @Theee.Krisss
      @Theee.Krisss  2 месяца назад

      Not necessary. It works perfectly fine the way it is. I have zero issues on the freeway as well as on the trails. 🤙🏽
