Yes, he is!! Jealous folks won’t admit it and if they don’t think so they can say that on their own page. Dr. Bernard is one of the greats. His ability to articulate the truth of the oneness of God is par excellent. Historically, he has made tremendous impact on both trinitarians and oneness people.
By the grace of God He will make thousands of David Bernard who can explain the Oneness of God in a very plain manner and easy to understand. God bless us all!
This is exactly why I watch and share these. I also have a pastor who is very much like Bro Bernard and I pray we all come to reality that we need to arm ourselves with the knowledge of God's word.

I am not UPC member, I never was. But I believe in one God - SPIRIT (John 4:24), who is perfectly manifested bodily in the Son Jesus Christ (Colossians2:9). To question trinity you don't have to be part of UPC.
Hi, interestingly, this was my belief as a Trinitarian before I bumped into the Oneness of God. As such, I do believe that there is room for dialogue between Trinitarians such as you and I and Oneness Pentecostals, so that we can come to the unity of the faith. It is with our "Tritheistic Trinitarian" brothers, who see 3 centres of consciousness in their mind, where reconciliation is harder. And, in their desire to prove the Oneness view wrong, they erroneously enter alternatingly into the domain of polytheism, drifting in and out of it as they find it necessary. Stay connected! 🙏🙏

And turning against the teachings, I can conclude by saying, if he stood upon the true foundation of the doctoral knowledge of the oneness, and had a full understanding in that in which he has laid; but seeing his departure and that being bitter, this man knowing nothing; for his foundation was laid upon shifting sands; for if he would have known of the Gospel, for there is none other. Very true Elkana888 you don't have to be UPC to question the Trinity!! EVERYONE should question the Trinity because the definition itself isn't logical. Three Gods are one God just doesn't add up. Three of any thing is more than one. In fact the history of the Trinity can be found on the internet. And yet at least 90% of the Christian community believe in the Trinity. This of course is due to the scriptural ignorance of the Christian community.

I watched the You Tube video ‘David K. Bernard Presents Oneness Theology on Religious Hard Talk’. Ian Boyne was tough with his questions but It seemed as though he was being convinced of Oneness truth. David Bernard was very confident in his defense of the truth. (After all truth is truth) You can’t defend a lie. I’ve love watching other oneness debates by David Bernard.
Even the host was admitting that he was making good points😆

I'm seeing more and more increase of interest in Messianic, Hebrew root, observing all 10 commandments (including the Sabbath)
These people are extremely diverse and coming from all denominations into a more messianic understanding of scripture.
This is re-opening up multiple debates about the Godhead and about Yeshua being God in flesh, or the son of God, or the image of the Father.
Justin Bowling I am a "unitarian," for about six years now, i guess. Southern Baptist originally. Being a non-Trinitarian now, and not a modalist, there are few congregations or denominations that i would be welcomed into, or be comfortable joining.
My house is where i worship God, my wife and i. Where two or three are gathered in my name...
I examined the Hebrew roots idea, thought it was important to use Hebrew names for God and Jesus. But we're gentiles. Acts 15 gives the Assembly at Jerusalem's final word, in accordance with the Holy Spirit, as to what "laws" we gentiles should observe. No food sacrificed to idols, no sexual immorality, no consuming blood, no eating strangled animals. Jesus said the whole of the Mosaic Law hangs on loving God with all we've got, and loving our neighbor like ourselves. Micah 6:8, act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with your God.
We are not under the law. The Sabbath was NEVER for gentiles, it was a covenant between the Living God and his chosen people, the first-covenant Hebrews.
I came to "unitarianism" by honestly asking God to show me if there was anything i believed that was false. I didn't think there was anything in that category, but my sincere prayer was answered, and it wasn't just trinitarianism.
Everyone must seek the One True God for his wisdom and truth, and nobody should just take a church's or denomination's word for it. Most people in every denomination, religion, or cult just assume they've got the truth, and everyone that believes differently has been blinded by Satan.
Nobody thinks they might be among the deceived. Nobody. Every single deceived person on Earth is dead certain it's the other guy that's fallen for the false doctrine handed down to them that they never questioned, or considered, or studied. Every religion is right, just ask them.
But somebody's wrong. How do we know it isn't us? WE never investigated our doctrines, we just took what the preachers told us, and look, here's that verse they showed me to prove it.
A person never finds what they do not seek. "You will seek me, and you will find me, when you search for me with all of your heart." This is how truth is found. Not "because this is what they told me." Man does not know, only God knows. Let God be true, and every man a liar.
Dear Justin Bowling, don't get caught up in what others are doing or what they call themselves. If you read the Old Testament, God emphatically says that He is only One, alone, by Himself, there is no one else, no one beside Him, no one before or after Him and He will share His glory with no one. I have to disagree with the other gentleman [called Hell is a lie] who told you that the Sabbath was never meant to be observed by Gentiles because it was for God's chosen people, the first covenant Hebrews. God's Ten Commandments was given to mankind, not just for the Jews. The "church" [people] cannot be in the Truth and in the One Body of Christ while doing different things. If idolatry, taking God's Name in vain, dishonoring parents, killing, stealing, coveting, adultery, liing are wrong and sinful, then so is not keeping His Sabbath. One must ask themselves WHY were the Jews His chosen people and entrusted with His Oracles?! Adam and Eve knew God's Laws and kept them perfectly until sin entered and then God's Laws were sinned against. Even Noah kept God's clean and unclean food laws so he knew what it was.
God's Sabbath was made during the account of Creation! The same account when He made mankind! He established the seven days of a week, the 7th day He blessed and set apart because He ceased from working. Even Jesus said He is Lord of the Sabbath. You can't change the account of Creation and God does not change.
Another thing to consider is when Jews existed, back then there were only two types of people. Jew and Gentile. Jews were God's chosen because He made a special people for Himself that would keep His Laws, Commandments and Ordinances. Then there were the Gentiles who were pagans and observing pagan traditions. Christians didn't appear until centuries later and Christians were those people who were Gentiles and left their pagan lifestyles to follow Christ.
Christ didn't come to create a "new religion" but opened the door for both Jew and Gentile [Christian] to follow Him in Truth. Remember, sin is a transgression of God's Laws and the wages of sin is death. Jesus died for our sins, not to ignore the Commandments of God but to obey them and His Precious Blood covers our sins where we fall short. So we are to repent and turn from sin. Again, sin is a transgression of the Law! God gave Moses the Ten Commandments to bring down to the people who fell away. When Moses returned, he discovered the people were worshiping God with a golden calf, fornicating, partying, etc. Let's reiterate: GOD - GAVE - MOSES - HIS LAWS [COMMANDMENTS] - TO GIVE TO THE PEOPLE. Why? Because they FELL AWAY! [I'm capitalizing for emphasis. I'm not yelling]. So the Law of Moses and God's Laws are technically the same thing but Christians like to say that the "Law of Moses" doesn't apply to them. Paul said, so do we continue to sin because we are not under the Law? No! God Forbid! - Reminder, sin is the transgression of The Law. Paul is saying that you are not under the PENALTY of The Law when you observe The Law with FAITH In CHRIST. Why? Because the Blood of Christ covers the penalty for your transgressions of the Law. That DOES NOT mean The Law does not apply to Christians!!
Obedience of the Law is not works of the Law. Obedience is loving God. We cannot have faith without works and we cannot have works without faith. One without the other falls short of salvation. Jews were trying to keep the Law by works alone, without faith in Christ. Sadly and ironically, Christians are trying to keep faith alone without the Law and also fall short. Doing exactly what the Jews did but from the opposite side. Yes, faith alone in Christ is salvation but to love God is to keep His Commandments. As Paul stated, had it not been for the Law, he would not have known what sin is. If there was no Law, what makes Jesus SINLESS? Remember, sin is the transgression of the Law and Jesus is The WORD! We are condemned by the Law because we are sinners but the finished works of Christ frees us from the penalty of the Law so by faith in Christ, we are not under the Law! That doesn't mean we don't obey the Law.
In ancient days, unblemished lamb sacrifices were performed annually on Passover for the forgiveness of sin. The Jews still obeyed the Commandments of God but as fallen men, they sinned against God when they broke His Commandments. Jesus is that Perfect, Unblemished Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world, sacrificed ON PASSOVER. The Passover is THE LORD'S. Jesus told His disciples during Passover to take communion of His Body and His Blood and remember Him by doing this!
That doesn't mean He made a free for all to do as thou wilt. It means He made a way for ALL people, not just for the Jews, that whoever accepts Christ and believes in Him, annual sacrifices are no longer required for the remission of sins because He is that once and for all. Obey His Word, keep His Commandments [Jesus taught and followed the Commandments, kept the Sabbath, the Feasts, observed the clean and unclean food Laws, etc.] and do these in faith in Christ Who is your atonement for sin where and when you fall short! Jesus said if you love Him, you will keep the Commandments. So you see, it's not a "Jew" thing. It's a "GOD" thing! Jesus came to fulfill, not abolish! Many people really don't understand what that means. Keep seeking Truth my friend and test every spirit!

Rykel Lim Hi, Joel here. As you might could tell by my youtube name/handle, i've also learned that the doctrine of eternal torment is not scriptural, and is based on flawed theology, poor English translation, and a staggering misperception of the nature of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
People believe in eternal torment because they believe every "soul" is immortal. This was grafted into early biblical teaching by students of Plato's philosophy. It was also a common pagan belief.
But the scriptures do not teach that man has some kind of eternal essence connected to his physical body. Nearly everything Christians believe, about what happens after you die, is wrong. It is not supported by scripture, except in misleading English translations of key words.
Also, the whole idea of the institutional church is deeply flawed. Jesus called his future followers his "ekklesia," which does not translate into church. The Greek word ekklesia means "called-out," like an assembly in ancient times when a leader called the people out into a town square, to discuss some important matter.
An accurate English translation would be "assembly," or congregation. A group of people called to meet together.
"Church" is more understood to be about the organization, or a denomination, or even a building. Ekklesia is about the group, the PEOPLE. Church is about the human institution, the tax-exempt, money-making business, run by paid ministers and/or hirelings. It is a job to ordained pastors, their livelihood. This is not how it was intended to be, and this church-business model was carried straight over from Catholicism, in the so-called Reformation.

God never revealed he is oneness. What is one. Yes a united one and that's JESUS said father glorify me with the glory I had with you from the beginning. Father Son distinct from each other yet one in essence. Bless HIM for ever.
What is ONE? I never realized that was a difficult question.. I have a 3 year old grand kid, and of course he has a lot to learn. And I doubt very much that he is a genius, although grandma thinks he is a smart one.. I'll ask him. Hold up one finger. And he holds up one finger.. Me being a little more knowledgeable realize that the Bible describes God as a Spirit, and that he is one... If you take away everything that God created you will be left with ONE single Spirit..... ONE is ONE.

Bro. Bernard, one of the things that would advance Oneness theology even further would be knowing who the first person or persons were, that brought the trinity idea, concept, theology, etc. into the church communities. As of this time, I have found no one in UPCI or other Apostolic organizations who even come close. Most books point to Tertullian. That is wrong because Tertullian was not the first to present this idea. His writings present a good amount of information, but nowhere does he state he is the first to teach a trinity. As you know, most trinitarians were already baptizing their followers several centuries before. Anyway, I could go on and on. I would like to see unity in the teaching of the historical origin of the trinity, and how it came into the church communities. It was adopted at Nicaea and the council of 381. @Fresh Prince John 1:18 No one has ever seen God; but the only and unique Son, who is identical with God and is at the Father's side -- he has made him known (CJB). Sounds ok to me. The Son is the visible manifestation of the Father (John 14:9). Btw, here is something the trini enrollers will not tell you; the real reason they want Jesus to not be fully God is that Greek philosophy would not allow the most high God to have emotions and become incarnate. Only an mysteriously eternally generated son could do the job. Quite frankly a bunch of hogwash.

Absolutely!! Oneness did not begin at Azusa street. People were baptizing in Jesus name in the first century. Many of the oneness writers were actually killed(one was killed by John Calvin) and their works burned.

Im a christian who has come out of a trinitarian background and have rejected it. Ive been praying about the truth of Jesus and studying scripture. I know Jesus is Gods Son and yes God manifest in the flesh cause thats what Bible says. I think through listening to David i have found my answer. I like the fact he uses nothing but scripture and he seems very humble. Ive found many like James White are arrogant and look for debate but even as a trinitarian i had to agree David Bernard won hands down...lol. I think im going to seek out a UPCI church this sunday.

We call Him Father as the the creator because the Spirit of God moved over the devoid earth and manifested in Word to make that which was formless and void into this planet earth. @@hargisP2 also, in Greek, the word is “kai” and it can mean “and, even, or also.” So when you read their salutations and greetings in the Epistles, replace the “and(s)” with “even” or “also.” Really brings light to the scriptures.🙂

When Jesus says “Father in me” this reveals him as the Father in human flesh also see Zechariah 12:10, Luke 1:68)
When Jesus says he is in the Father (given Isaiah 9:6) this references him in the office of the Father and Son simultaneously

Hi Justin Bowling, while it is certainly not a sin to worship on Saturdays, eat Kosher foods, sing Yeshua and do a ton of the messianic judaism stuff, it becomes a "Judaiser vs. Galatians" problem when a person insists that unless and until you believe in the things above, you are not following God's laws and commandments, or worse, sinning. When the trajectory turns into "Judaiser-ism", then we Christians must vigourously oppose, expose and reject these attempts to bring the churches into BONDAGE.
The key verses for your reference would be Colossians 2:16 and Romans 14:5.

Oneness believers know trinity is wrong and trinity believers know oneness is wrong, but neither can figure out what that means. They just go on in perpetual debate. Here is what I believe. Both are right and both are wrong, but they don't know how to come together.
Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Him because they are the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is why God is one. There is only one Holy Spirit. Within the Holy Spirit, there is the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is not above the Father, it is the Father. The Holy Spirit is not above the Son, it is the Son. The Father and Son are one in the Holy Spirit, but there is still the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is not 1/3 of God, it is the whole of God. The Son doesn't disappear into the Father so that they are indistinguishable as persons. And when we are finally able to know them in person, we will still see the two of them. God has invited all of us to be His sons. Why would he not also with us, have His only begotten Son.
Spirit is what God is. God is a Spirit, and the Spirit He is is the Holy Spirit. The Father and the Son are one because they are of the same Holy Spirit; two personalities of the same Spirit. That Spirit is how God is omnipresent. And the Spirit is how the church is one body even though we are many members. We are one in the Holy Spirit; Jesus being the head of that body; the Father being the head of Jesus.
The Father is in the Son and the Son is in the Father because they are the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not another personality. It is simply them.

A cult is any religious group that claims that only those people who believe what they believe, and practice what they practice will go to heaven. Baptist and reformed churches don’t believe this. They believe Jesus saves, and not Jesus plus adherence to a set of religious rules.

The signs that pentecostal seek don't happen we are in a different dispensation of the grace. There is aperverseness in seeking signs and they are not follow preaching today. Wake up and smell the coffee.
But I have seen those signs that are prophesied. I've seen blind eyes open, cancers healed, simple body aches healed, people speak in tongues receiving the Holy Ghost and then lives changed, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, devils cast out, all these signs are still happening today.
The Bible doesn't say there is another period of grace other than that of the apostolic church in the new testament. We are still in the same book of acts, that book never ended in the Bible because we are still living it today. It ends at the return of Jesus Christ

In John 16:38 Jesus says, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” This verse is saying Jesus has His own will and the Father has His. Yes, they don’t disagree, of course, but still this verse speaks of two wills. In John 14:31 Jesus says, “…but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me.” In John 5:19 Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.” In John 1:1 the Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word was God.” If Oneness was true, shouldn’t this verse say, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God.” John 6:44 says, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.” Again, if oneness was true, shouldn’t this verse say, “No one can come to me, unless I draw him.” In John 10:15, Jesus says, “…even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.” Matthew 26:29 says, “And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” Read for yourself; does this sound like oneness, or is Jesus having conversations with the Father within the triune God-head?

One Lord - This evidently refers to the Lord Jesus. The "Spirit" is mentioned in the previous verse; the Father in the verse following. On the application of the word "Lord" to the Saviour, see the notes on Acts 1:24. The argument here is, that there ought to be unity among Christians, because they have one Lord and Saviour.
Also you're conflating Ephesians 4:5 with Deuteronomy 6:4...

Is a man the same person he is when he is born as he is when 10, 20, 30, 85? No. God is outside of time and existing always. One God, three persons.
There is a distinction between the personas of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, but you should not see them as 3 separate beings, but rather, one God manifestly visible in Jesus Christ.
In simple words, just focus on *JESUS* and you will see the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Spirit of Christ).
Otherwise, you will be very confused about the Holy Trinity.

Those of us that study in say, Exodus 6:3, then see Pslam 68:4, and then read Isaiah 9:6-7, and Revelation 19 understand that while the Father has never left the throne and Christ sits there now the Holy Spirit whom is God does not there reside. Yet how to explain this in the sense of oats before getting to the meat? When you hold an egg you say egg, yet there is the shell, the white, the yolk. None separate yet three yet One....Also while God has been made known in three persons, I would not say three personas, as the Mind of Christ is the Mind of God, spoken through prophets in the Holy Scriptures...and there is no distinction there. Dennis King 1 God. Period. The confusion only comes when it comes to the father/son language of the New Testament. I think David Bernard has the best understandings of that Father/Son language of any of the theologians.

Dennis King first I would say that this is a Vision of Daniel. He's seeing into the future prophetically. He sees one "like" the son of man. At the time of daniel Jesus the "son of man", the only begotten hasn't even been born yet. So what Daniel sees is the Ancient of days who is the eternal Spirit of God giving dominion to the messiah... that is himself in the flesh. Matthew 28:18, 1Tim 3:16
