I have an NJ tube right now and you are my literal role model. Your videos seriously make me feel so much better. I have test to confirm my gastropareses in a few days and then I’ll probably end up with a straight j-tube. It’s hard stuff to go through, but thank you for being you.
My wife needs IV meds through her port and I've gotten really good about giving her meds in public and at friends' houses without drawing attention. You just have too bee prepared for kids and ride people to stare.
At church, we use the children's crying room (which is rarely used anyway) to do nasal (IV meds with nasal atomizer) or IV medication.

I don't suffer from any health conditions but I am an training nurse and so I find your videos really informative and helpful! It's not only good to see how you would identify/medically manage these conditions, but it's also important to understand how it can impact someone's life to emphasise with them! I also just quickly want to say how amazing you are at self managing .. a lot of people wouldn't be able to do what you do... And so well!
An inspiration not just to chronic illness suffers but to all!!!!

Aaaggghhh I've spent the last couple weeks watching all your vlogs, as I only recently ish found your channel, so I wanted to watch them all to get to know you and your life etc, but now I'm up to date and I miss having constant vlogs to watch! I even watched them when I was in hospital recently. I may have to go back to the start and watch them over again 😂 lol. You and Tom are so cute together. I have nights like this too. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have had it for 25 years with a number of operations, which a few have unfortunately not been very successful. The joints which need to be renewed again keep me awake. I think I have become immune to some of my pain killers. You have so much to put up with. Your an inspiration the way you keep smiling and keep busy with your life. Never complaining. I am aware you have bad days. Where you must feel like total shit. I do too. Btw I am no way comparing my disease with yours. I have started watching your blogs as you must inspire me. Keep going lady.😀😁😉

Hey Amy great Vlog considering you had no sleep you poor thing I'm feeling your pain there I suffer from chronic pain and some nights I'm lucky enough to even get 2 hours sleep I'm in a HUGE flare up with my back really bad this time and have to wait to see my pain doctor which I have travel 2 hours in a car to see anyway enough about that.
I love the clothes Tom bought you that red top and jeans looked absolutely beautiful red really suits you.
As for latest vlog on your main channel I think you did a awesome in getting awareness of gastroparesis out there and you are totally right that we have a great health care system here in Australia and everyone worldwide should have access to health care 😘😘
I love watching your videos it really inspires me to not let my genetic condition ( my pancreas made insulin continuously and I had to have it removed) and the fact that I have to take 10 shots a day and wear medical devices keep me from doing what I love
Try padded bralettes instead of full support bras. I have back issues which flare pain across my ribs and find that the bralettes from Cotton On Body are really comfy. They are adjustable like bra straps but so much softer.

I watched your other video last night before I went to sleep. I had to watch it twice and go back and find other videos from around that time. I really could not believe the difference!! I know watching some one everyday you don't notice the changes as much, but, WOW! I have noticed the changes in you overall health and that you seem to feel a lot better lately but I guess the weight just crept up on me...lol. So glad you are getting the nutrition you need and are doing so much better! Do you have a video about how your gp started or how you came to have it? Just curious. Love from North Carolina.

I am so glad you were able to find some bottoms that you liked (with Tom's help!!). It's so cute he got you some gifts for Valentines. 7 years ago I lost my cousin on Valentines Day and I just don't care for the day any longer. My husband and I don't even get each other cards. The lights on your headboard seem to have most of the bulbs bad. Is it more than one string and one is off or are that many of the bulbs just burnt out?
I said this on another video but you should raise awareness! I currently try my best to raise awareness over my sons blood disorder & it’s so so bloody upsetting how uneducated people are. They assume so much about his health & I feel like it’s my duty to raise awareness so OTHER people can be helped. My son has a great consultant so I don’t worry about him but I worry about others who have the same condition etc.
Getting and reading all your med records is really important. I just found out a host of dx's from 2012 after my lumbar fusion that I've been trying to get dx'd recently for! Plus, it helped with my cardiologist. I just got dx'd with mild cardiomyopathy. I'm a zebra with a big heart that isn't working right... how ironic.

What my mum & I do with me needing pain medication when I'm out is that we feel up a small container of medicine that we already premeasured of the right amount in it for me too take
So thankfully all I have to do is open it & drink it up quickly so no one usually sees except my friends I'm with but they all understand 😉👌😊

My physio has banned me from wearing bras with underwire so I just wear soft ones that are kinda like sports bras but not as tight and they are comfy and haven’t had a rib dislocation since swapping.
You should try the company indigo Luna! They have suuuper comfy bras with no wire and they’re sustainably made as well as organic. Also I think they’re based out of Australia if I’m not mistaken. Just a suggestion!

Bralettes are an EDSers best friend. They have just enough support but not constricting, no wire, super comfortable, and have yet to have my ribs dislocate because of it like I do with a traditional bra.

Amy, you could consider wearing what the call a Leasure bra that has no underwire and is really strettchy or a sports bra with no underwire that should give you support while not hurting your ribs or shoulders.
Cute clothes. You say that you are short, you are taller then me. You just seem short compared to Tom. I lucky to 5 foot one and half. I absolutely hate shopping for clothes, I can never find something that fits properly. The clothes are make weird. Glad you had a good valentine's day.

This is just a question out of curiosity, so the tube on your chest(sorry I don’t know proper terms) can you tuck it in your shirts or do you have to let it out? I’d be scared id snag it on everything also because it’s connected to a main artery(or your heat i don’t remember) would it be dangerous for it to snag or get caught in some and you pull on it roughly?
Sadie Marie it could be potentially very dangerous if it was to be pulled or yanked out! And I can’t tuck in my line in my chest (Hickman line) because it breeds a lot of bacteria from being against your boobs in the warmth 😂 it’s my protocol to have it out! Anyway❤️
