i met this guy & wish i could turn back the hands of time...boy would i talk more...i was so tired i could barely stand up...had a front row seat to his riverbend concert 'n got his autograph...he loved my daughter...
Without a doubt, one of the best live Entertainers I've ever had the privilege to experience. John's gone on much too soon, but the music he left behind allows his spirit to live forever. And I am glad.
If today an audience was encouraged to hum along, I don't think you hear much humming at all, let alone a rousing chorus! Maybe its because John is gone

As always, John Hartford is brilliant--permanent present tense. I had the great pleasure of seeing him in Lawrence, KS about 1980 or so--amazing.
You're very lucky. I would love to see him perform in all his brilliance.
@ModGirl1967 I wish I was old enough to have seen this guy live! Unfortunately, he passed away before I had a chance.
In memory of Deborah Anne "Fish" Fischbeck, the Queen of the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN.
..SHE'S THE QUEEN OF THE WEST!
