    Maybe a YT search for that make and model will tell you what to do, maybe multiple videos for everything. It's plenty old enough for some good repair coverage. There's also the rest of the Internet, but I like videos the best. Congratulations, Joe, and Best of Luck on the rest (the electronics and all). It's much more than I would *want* to take on, but I'd do it, like you, and learn along the way, if I had one. You'll have a gem when you are done.

      Thanks for the tips and your continued support. Nothing on YT with this year & model. Last of the Mohicans I guess LOL There were several of "Newer" models that were somewhat helpful. This is a "little" bit more than I wanted to get involved with but I into it now. My first learning lesson was installing these hydraulic hoses & what is involved. Now onto learning how to navigate it. Hoping nothing major along the way. Besides the wiring there are a couple of small issues I will be addressing in future videos.

      @@JOEZEP54 I'm glad it's down to only the wiring/electronics. You can check the signals to the hour meter and such. I don't know what kinds of signals to look for on the hour meter, but that one may just be power applied when the key is turned On or the engine is running. You can research what each device should have. If the signals seem good, then the devices could be bad. If no signal, then a wiring or sending unit issue; like oil pressure is a sending unit. Maybe frayed and shorted or broken wires, or disconnected connectors, or bad grounds.
      I love how you always reply to comments and I'm glad I can help, when it does. Stay warm and well, and Best Wishes for smooth and easy repairs.

    Hi, What would be the procedure to make sure there is no pressure (release the pressure) on the lines before removing the hoses?

    • @JOEZEP54
      @JOEZEP54  4 месяца назад +1

      Thank you for stopping by and for your question. Just letting you know this is my first unit with hydraulics so I am learning as I go. This is the procedure I did.
      1) all buckets & outriggers resting on the ground, no pressure on them. 2) engine off. 3) I " wiggled " all the hydraulic handles to release any pressure. Keep in mind this unit had a leak so I am not sure if this procedure was why I did not have any issue with the pressure when I disconnected the hoses. But all went well.
      If you are buying your hoses locally ask the guys in the shop, some of them have probably been around for awhile & can help.
      Let me know how your repair went.
      Stay safe, Joe Z

      You're welcome. I am waiting for the weather to clear up & the ground that I am looking to work drain off to put this unit to work and more videos to follow. Let me know if I can be of help. As I mentioned before my knowledge on this equipment is limited but I may be able to point you in the right direction. What make/model do you have?@@GuilhermeOliveirachannel
