- Scott Farms is plowing a field to prepare it for peanut planting. In this series of videos a pair of John Deere tractors work on different sides of a field moldboard plowing. A John Deere 8295R pulls a seven bottom John Deere 995 reversible plow on one side and a John Deere 8370R pulls an eight bottom John Deere 995 plow on the other side.
This is the same field that I filmed Scott Farms disking in some of my earlier videos.
SUPER IDEA . POZDRAWIAM .
Great videos Terry, Love to watch the moldboard tractor plowing. I was thinking if a Colder installed on the 1st.and last plow would make it easier to get a clean furrow from the plow.
It would but I have never seen one on this type of plow. Thanks for the comment.
Need to put the out rigger kit on the plow then you won’t need the rake the plow and tractor will both pull straight
If it was me farming, I would be sure to own a Case 4490 or a 4690. At the flick of a switch you have 4 way steer, other steering options that help you with implement draft, hillside draft and you name it. Yes I am old fashioned (early Eighties Case models) but none of todays 4-wheel drives have these features at least as far as I know.
class xerion
what is this tank front of the tractor?
👍👏💚🙋♂️
would longer landsides help the side draft
Needs to be adjusted to center of plow draft.
l wounded if l could us the same method and avoid a rotaveter
To Philip Blass, thanks for the info.
If it was me, I would get a blue tooth headset, and not be worried about the telephone. I hear so many complaints about the help staying on the phone and not paying attention to what their doing.
typical kid can't live without his phone attached to his ear 24/7 :)
