Giving the finger? Well don't what he was seeing, all I saw was a happy conductor greeting railfanns. He seems like a cool conductor, and btw great video!
Good afternoon, Dave...it's great to see someone who really enjoys their job!...he made us smile!...does the second train need a push!...excellent close-up...enjoy your Saturday!
I saw that same stack train with the "crazy conductor" @ Lorton on that same day, with CSX ET44AC-H #3285 leading and CSX ES44AC(H) #3220 in the middle as a DPU.
Alex you know it’s against the law to give train crews the finger right. 😂😂😂😂 That part killed me. 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 LOLOLOLOLOL. Keep it up with these hilarious videos. 😂😂😂😅😅😅
Geeze. Those CSX guys are great! Where I am, if the CSX guys see you within 100 foot of their right of way..here comes the CSX police! And we never give them the finger!
grazie amici cari per il bellissimo video e per il bel incrocio in stazione e il transito del convoglio un caro saluto dalla sicilia giuseppe vostro caro amico
I love CSX,BNSF,NS,UNION PACIFIC.... ENGINE plz welcome Tanzania for investment.... come to investment more than 10 country in east Africa am citizen but I love American railway performance...0713182211 yr train is very long.
Agustin Mccullough those things are common on those trains because the line after this, they need cab signals and the gevos are the only engines that can lead on that line.
Can someone help me with an answer to this question? On the cars that haul cut dimensional what is the object or why are there what appear to be support cables going in all directions from the outside of the car to the center support frame on the empty cars? Is it to hold that frame up as it does not look that week that it would fall over? I also have one more maybe more important question in that the center frame doesn't appear to be strong enough to actually support a sideways shift of a huge load of lumber so is it actually made for what I believe is horizontal support along the length of the car by use of a vertical support frame, in other words a TRUSS such as bridges have either on the sides on top or below there decks? I hope I have conveyed these ideas appropriately so as to have some one who knows be able t,o help answer these questions.. Thank you. Also a very nice rail video!
Try an Internet Search on “Train Lumber Cars”. There are three (3) types of cars for hauling Lumber. “Center Beam” cars are the most common since it can be Unloaded from both sides of the train simultaneously and car can be placed back in service quickly. The Center Beam uses the Cables to Secure Loads. These cables are placed in the Diagonal Direction on Empty cars (only) so they can be easily reached and Unattached by an individual when they are going to re-load the car with another load of lumber. Otherwise they couldn’t reach them if they were attached on the Top of the Center Beam which is where they are attached on a Loaded car. They normally are Straight Up and Down on a Loaded Car to secure loads on the car. The Center Beams cars are Welded Steel along the Bottom and two (2) Ends so NO issue with being Fully Supported in the Center of the car. Center Beam cars are more Prone to Derailments when Empty since they are lighter than any other car. A Center Beam car can handle 200,000 lbs. of lumber which is enough lumber for six (6) homes. Hope this helps.
I wish President Trump would instruct the EPA to get off the railroads backs and write some more executive orders rescinding tier one thru tier 4 regulations,I miss the smoke and the crackling of the exhaust. As always Dave I love you ,you are the handsomest rail fanner around, yeah I saw you in another rail fanner's video. Before anybody gets the wrong idea I love all my friends.
What camera? My iPhone one is pretty good but when the train is goin by at a decent speed it looks glitchy, idk if it’s just me, finally starting mine back up after losing a good amount of videos in the past, idk how but yt kept saying it needed an update and once I did it I lost 11, not the first time, in total I lost about 33, I’m done with my training and recently finished my online about a week ago so now I just wait for a call

I love NS but... CSX has great paint schemes and make the best models.

Wrong shades altogether. They should take a hint from Alaska Railways.

Why don't they have their ditch lights on?
They had em on.
@@maxshelltrack9720 the first train didn't.
Yeah i Didn't notice at first with the flashing ditch lights.
