Dave started a riot with his band , he introduced good music to a lot of kids and gave hope to people who thought it was all done for this kind of music , hope to see his legacy living on in the future

I was born into 80's glam/sleaze hair metal and I remember when I 1st seen Crashdiet I was like NO WAY ! I couldnt believe there was a band out there today with the Big Hair and REAL music of today ! Needless to say I just Bleached my hair White Blonde yesterday and got it cut to Tease all big ;D

Dave really did something for the swedish music scene. Back when Rest in Sleaze was released I had pals who usually only listen to pop and rap saying like "man, have you listened to Crashdiet? They are totally awesome!"
But it feels like Sleaze is coming back a little, and much thanks to bands like Crashdiet who started this wave.

Remember first seeing them in the underground rockscene in Stockholm, Dave acted like he was playing in front of an arena. Great band, and the members are great guys. Although, they can't keep up in my drinkinggames ;)

The first time I heard about this band was in a top 10 glam metal songs, among Britny Fox, Guns N Roses and Skid Row. I thought it was an 80's Hair Band! Can't imagine how happy I was when I found out that they were recent!!
