Thanks Jayne (sorry if that registered as a thumbs down, I caught the wrong button 😂)! Rachel hated the hill - she hid it well, don’t you think? 😅 Thanks as always - glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Phenomenal run Chris, massive congratulations to you. You're always so modest. Excellent run Kayleigh, my PB is 50.18 so I appreciate what a brilliant run yours was. A fabulous day for you both!
You guys are brilliant. Love the fact you all ran super quickly and pb's in some cases and the hill was the main topic of conversation in the debrief. 😀
Brilliant running both of you! Especially on what sounds like a very tough course! It must feel great coming back from injury so strong Chris. I had the same injury in 2015 and it put me out for a while. Plagued me for 7 months! Congrats Kayleigh! Thanks for the great vid, hope to see yous soon, take care x
@@those2runners a mate of mine wants to try Hexham this weekend I think. I was at Town Moor on Saturday - why can I never run well on this course!! haha. Keep me posted where yous will be going and will catch up with yous!
Cool video Chris and Kayleigh. The 10K is a tough run and it takes a bit of grit to get through them. It isn't "just" 2x as long as a 5K, you have to save a little bit of effort and not go out too fast. Yeah a coffee that close to race start would be a no go for me. Usually I have a small cup about 2 hours before the race -- too much acid. I've also been using about a cup or two of caffeinated Tailwind an hour before a race as well - definitely less acidic. Glad to see Chris racing again - that Achilles injury can be a long term injury. I've been knocking out races in my area as well.
Thanks Eddie! It’s such a hard distance to race! 😅 probably my least favourite in some ways. I’m the same with coffee, I don’t know how Chris did it 😬 Water and decaf tea for me before running! How’ve you been getting on with your races?
Another great video guys!!! Great to see you again 😊, amazing running from you both, Chris amazing performance, and Kayleigh pb so pleased for you!!! I got an unexpected PB too, one thing about this years darlo 10k I disliked was them water pods 🤮.
Close to a pb Chris, wonder how much time you lose from the filming? great effort. Well done on the pb Kayleigh. Rachel's complaining about the hill was amusing, didn't look that steep, its prob the go pro flattening it?
If it had been a goal race, Chris wouldn’t have filmed but I agree, he did so well even holding the camera! Don’t know how he does it! Thanks Ollie, I was super pleased and surprised - I wasn’t expecting a PB on this one! 😃 Rachel hated the hill and it was a lot steeper than it looked 😅 I don’t think she was mentally prepared 🤣. Thanks for watching and the continued support as always! 😃
The key is not recording the whole race, just recording snippets! We usually take turns so we’ve got an equal chance and don’t record at all during our goal races! Thanks for watching 😃
Loved chris shouting at Rachael " lets go! "
Not sure Rachael mention the hill enough 😂😂😂
Well done to all
Thanks Jayne (sorry if that registered as a thumbs down, I caught the wrong button 😂)!

Glad to have made an appearance !!!
Thanks for watching! 😊
Good to see you both again! Chris looked very strong passing me just after 8km. Congratulations to Kayleigh & Rachel, unexpected PBs are the best.😁
Thanks Glenn, you did so well, massive well done on your course PB too! 😊 great to see you!

Looks a great place for it.
Thank you so much and thanks for watching! 😊
Never had a coffee before a race, i thought it was the law 😂🤣😂
😂😂😂 not for me…if I did it I’d need to run straight to the toilet 😬😅. I don’t know how you both do it 😂 thanks for watching Stu! 😃

I never understand how RUclipsrs can hope for a pb yet spend so much effort recording and commentating through the race
