The history and the way you've brought the faces to life makes your channel a great resource for homeschooling!

Catherine de Medici was such an interesting figure in history! I loved seeing her come to life in your video!

The end of the Valois dynasty was tragic. Before dying, Henri III choosed his cousin Henri de Bourbon to succeed him. These two kings were the only ones to be murdered, Henri III by a monk, and Henri IV by François Ravaillac. Great Video.

Henry de Bourbon was not „choosed“ he was the legitim Person to inherit the thron of France… he „only“ had to convert to the catholic religion (at the Moment of the Death of Henri III he was still Hugennot)..

I love how the portraits of the historical figures are morphing and moving into “live” people.
Kinda cool & freaky at the same time!
Catherine De Medici was a fascinating woman! Thank you!

Another great job! The info was helpful to my understanding of this period. It acts like a timeline to the particular stories and events which makes for quite a confusing swirl.

Yes. A good way to describe this era. It definitely is swirly.

Catherine de Medici may have been only 14 when she married but she brought a lot to France from Italy. She introduced high heels as she was rather short herself. She also introduced opera and ballet art forms to France.

Thanks for another great vlog and Marguerite de Valois would be on my wishlist . The details captured on portraits and scenes ( clothes, hairstyle , jewellery etc) , especially from that period of history will always amaze me , they are like prototypes of todays selifes . Happy to find your channel ... that changes Shein hauls that are invading YT. Greetings from Paris

    These are so cool!
I wish so many historical figures had this sort of thing, like Thomas More, or Thomas Cromwell. The latter would be particularly interesting I think, given what people have said about his portraits ahah

Oh my goodness, ready for suitors at the age of 11, I wasn't even thinking about boys at that age, I was too busy playing softball, tennis, reading books, listening to music, and studying, I was a real nerdy bookworm lol. She was married off at 14. This poor girl, I can't imagine being married that young. I was 18 when I got married, and I was still too young, but we made it, 4 kids and 45 years later, we're still together. I just can't imagine being married at such a young age.

Your videos are very interesting and very exciting. Could you please also make some videos about German personalities, such as Prince-Elector Maximilian I. of Bavaria (1573-1651), Lothar-Franz of Schönborn, Emperor Leopold I., Empress Margarita Theresia? That would be really wonderful.❤

I know there are MANY, but I'm a direct descendant. I can send you my grandparents line up if you would like to see. I would be interested in more information on each set. And you seem to enjoy finding stuff like that for your videos. :-)
