Dimitris Kerkoulas..hey Greek man..a fine massege from a Turk..first of all I want you to know that we also listen to Greek radios and like Greek music as you liked Turkish music....And secondly please read this carefully and tell it to your countryman.Think about 2 people..Sharing 2 seas and and numerous islands together...lived together inside 2 empires before...Listened and loved the same rthymes...getting drunk with the same drink and feeling the same winds..eating the same fish..But inside a meaningless conflict for centruies because of politics religion etc.Let this be our hour of peace...greetings to our Greek neighbours...I exactly know that not every Greek hates Turks...And I want you to know that not every Turk hates Greeks...I wish those politicians burn in hell and leave those 2 people living happily and friendly at their opposite coasts.

World has a lot learn from Turkish culture! When you listen to Classical Turkish Music (Which described as "Ottoman Music" in here), you will realize that it in includes every single culture from Great China Wall to the East of Hungary From Siberia to North of Africa! You will see it contain overtones of Beethoven, Bach etc. compositions, which made even 500-1000 years before classical music born in the Europe. Or just a simple looking 300 Years old Turkish Folk song actually has a huge amount of Rock, even Metal music in it, notes, melody etc. pure rock, would become like a Metallica song, when played with Western rock instruments like bass guitar, electric guitar, drum etc. or some of them will sound exactly same as Southern Spain Flamenco!
First song in the first link actually belongs to a Turkish folk musician, who were born as a blind kid in the central Anatolia, incredibly poor, no music etc. education what so ever, typical Dervish/Sufi like little village minstrel/folk poet! His life story and philosophy it self a completely amazing story.
Second link is the original song and the poet who created it.

@@mamdohnasef945 Not really. Turks first started taking Islam after 9th century. Only very small portion of the Turks. Seljuk Empire taken over whole of the West Asia, Middle East, Arabian peninsula, most Parts of Anatolia and needed a official government religion , while they were almost ruling the whole Islamic lands!
However, Turks not were Sunni or Shiah. Instead, Turks created their own religious order (Sect) that named as "Bektasi".
Yes they accepted Allah as God and Muhammad as his messenger/prophet but nothing else. No Salaat, were enjoying with the Alcohol, women have had same exact status as the men in society.
Even until mid 15th century of The Ottoman Empire, there were many Turks did not even become Muslim (Bektasi), some were Jewish, Christian or still practicing Turk/Turkic etheric religion called as "GOK TENGRI".
After 15th century, Ottomans Government 8ottoman Royal Family) brought Sunnism into the Turkish (Ottoman Empire) lands, forced all Turks to become Sunni Muslim!!!
Ottoman Royal family always called7discribed itself as the "Muslim Rome". Indeed. most of the Ottoman Sultans called themselves as the "Cesar of the Rome". Since Christianity was taken by the Western Rome (Judaism, ethnic Turkic religion, Paganism etc. was or really common or did not have good enough political effect as the Islam or Christianity), Ottoman had to use Islam/Sunnism as the official religion, political tool to be competition of the Rome (West World).
Additionally, almost % 80 of the Ottoman citizens made of Turks directly coming from Turk/Turkic etheric background (Oghuz Turks) , even when Ottoman lands was its largest stage.
This means, all of the Turks in the ottoman empire and/or outside of Ottoman Empire actually have had right on the Throne!
Solution? Assimilation, religion, lots of Islam etc. so they can create an empire without any kind of etheric background, no body to claim right on the throne.
However, this did not worked out that well. Thousands of bloody and brutal war, among Ottoman (Royal Family) Government vs. almost all of the other Turks (All Other Oghuz clans) and a massive war against to Safavid Empire (Today's Iran and/or Persian empire of the past), which was an empire literally made of Oghuz and other Turks, ruled by a Turk and the Turk/Turkic Royal Family!, but Safavid Empire was Shia too!
it took Turks to become Muslim and (Majority) Sunni until mid 17th century. In 18th century, even Ottoman Sustains started doing Turk/Turkic reforms in the empire, such as returning back to actual Turkish language etc. but did not worked out well, lots of revolts and rebellions by the radial Islamist sects in ottoman Empire (Turkey), while Armenians and some of the Greeks (Actually called as Rum = Christian Orthodox of the Eastern Roman Empire, those left over to Ottomans/Turks).
      Lots of bloody wars again.
In 1921, Mustafa Kemal ATATURK , started the war of independent against to ottoman Government, Against to UK 8And all of ıts colonies) France, Italy, Greece, Arabs, Russians and more.
ATATURK won the war and declared the modern, secular Turkish Republic.
Long story short; Turks are the one actually saved Islam from vanishing, id all of the from ın Islam, modernized the Islam.
Islam brought no whatsoever positive contribute to Turks. Nothing but more headache, problems, agnosy.
Turks has at least 4000 + years of history, before Islam Christianity or any of these dark age Arab religions pupped up in the planet Earth.

krisztoballit no, it is an oud, not Lavta, it look alike Lavta but different. for example there is no fret on it. Ouds origin is from middle asia (Horasan), inventor is Farabi (there are many different idea). commonly used in Turkish and arabic.

Severek dinledim .

Orta Asyaya gidersin direk.
