I've been running one since last summer on my 200 on a set of renthal 827s. Where its set allows me to grip the bars correctly and use it with one finger. It's tactile and responsive. Yes, it's worth it.
Thanks for commenting. Great to hear your perspective. Seems lots of riders like the alt rider lever too. We’ll have to do a comparison of both. Thanks for watching!
I read the comment. This is why I created the video, to get other rider’s feedback to compare to my own. With levers, there are functional and feel aspects. The Midwest lever performs as it is supposed to but some may not like the feel. In four hours of Riding, it felt fine and was an improvement over the stock lever. The intention of my video wasn’t to compare it to everything on the market just to the stock lever. I’ll try the alt rider and offer my opinion. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@zackiaryruddick701 rubbish? C’mon now. I’ve used the MME for 4 years. Transferred the levers from my 19 to 24 without needing any adjustments. I haven’t used the Alt, but rubbish….no way!
Another great vid! Time flies so I’ve had one of these levers sitting unopened for a couple of months…sounds like I need to make the time to put it on. Thanks for the great content!
NiceCNC makes a knockoff of the Midwest Mountain lever for about half the price. Would rather support US product but if you're on a budget keep that in mind. I ended up buying the Alt Rider MAC lever. It's a little pricey at $113 but it's an absolute work of art and the adjustment is one touch with no tools needed. Made in the USA. Been very very pleased with it on my gas gas 350
Do it!!!! Best $200 I’ve spent on the bike (both clutch and brake). I miss them when I’m riding a bike that doesn’t have them. Hey Midwest! Where’s my T-shirt? #midwestmountainengineering
I spent a lot of money "enduro-izing my DRz400... Now that I'm back on a 2stroke that I got "fully equipped" and which feels great to me, my aim is to spend no money on it except for maintenance. So as much as I'd like to experiment with things like this lever....I ain't gonna do it 😉 BTW: I sent you an email a few days ago about Mountain Ridge.
@@zackiaryruddick701 I don't evern want to know how much $$ I've spent equipping and setting up my bikes.. 😶 I bought the 2storke XCw I have now, from a friend and it had every single thing I'd want to do to it already done. He even had the suspension sprung and valved by Factory Connection and we are the same weight. So it would be kind of stupid to spend more money on it....
@@painsrides it's never stupid to spend more money on the thing that makes you happy and you love of course money don't grow on trees but I get a really good feeling when I get something new for my bike 👍

I absolutely love my alt Rider lever. It is light years more advanced than the Midwest Mountain. Not knocking Midwest Mountain because they were the first ones that I know of to go down this road, but alt Rider has perfected it.

Did you not read the comment just above your comment , I wonder who is right I think the other guy is right and this leaver is rubbish

Get it on that bike, dweebert and go for a ride! 😀
I think it would be a good buy for the 350 and nice job explaining how to assemble and nice review.
Stop trying to get me to add parts to the 350 to make it better for you to buy from me !!!
You read my mind buddy😅😅

You guys have all swayed me to trying the alt rider lever! Thanks for the feedback and for watching!
Thanks for the review man. The change wasn’t enough for me to toss my stock lever yet. I’ll wait. 👍🏻👍🏻
I agree for now. The test will be after some time with this lever then riding a bike with a stock lever. Thanks again for watching!

Smart idea. I’m in deep with this Beta! Got your email and just responded. I hope you guys can make it.!
I just spent 5000 on my brand-new 2stroke and complete changed the bike and Evey cent was worth it

The alt rider lever is light years better than the mwme lever.
Has a no tool on the fly adjuster.
Thanks for the feedback. I’m going to give that a try and compare them. Thanks for watching!

Now I have to give that alt rider lever a try. I’ll put on in my 350xcf and compare. Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
Definitely not worth it. They feel really weird, soggy, poor feedback. Had one on my 450 for one ride and hated it, couldn't get it off fast enough.
Good info, Otis! I’m going to try the alt rider one and compare.
