thirteen existing. ooh and replace all thirteen merch with more wicker man merch
and take down all the skyride signs it's been gone for so long that when it was still around i was too young (i am gen alpha)
give merlin pass holders a fast track too, as silver merlin pass holder i want to wickerman fast track at least once in my life
let me be able to buy the walk up wickerman attraction
give wickerman more sticks in the wall because the guests took his sticks out and now i can see wall
the correct list is wickerman for 1, rita for 2 and blade for 3

Deffo a theme at Merlin parks in terms of availability. Just had a few days down at Thorpe and their ability to get rides open at the start of the day was just a joke (those first hour hotel wristbands were a bit of a waste). I've been told more than once it's because it's the lack of investment in engineering and they basically can't keep up with everything that needs doing meaning they are going ride to ride getting them up and running at the start of the day etc.

Was there a few weeks ago staying at one of the hotels and while we did get into the park at 9am, Nemesis Reborn was not open. We had to stand in a queue (albeit at the very front) till it opened at 10am. We queued for the Smiler at the same time the next day and it was the same deal. The privilege for staying in a hotel is you get to be near thr front of a queue, but obviously the earlier you get there, the longer you are standing there. It doesn't feel like that much of a head start on those not staying at the hotels.
We found the hotel to be very nice, would recommend it. Would heartily recommend the Rollercoaster restaurant if your budget can stretch to it. It works out not all that more expensive than the very mid Flambo Jambo's.
We had to stand in the queue for Wicker Man for 2 hours as it stopped and started. It was frustrating as it was so hot, but the ride was worth it.
It's a shame the X Sector is so empty, despite having the best rollercoaster I've ever been on, and Oblivion, which is showing real signs of age now.
Queue times can get frankly ridiculous at the park, and the rides are frequently not running. You need to adapt to what's running when you are at the park.

lol we went to the costa in the alton hotel and it was bloody seven pound fifty for an oblivion donut. dad was initially like “oh no it doesnt matter on the price, ill get it you anyway” when i told him to check the price as there was none, then it popped up and he want “bloody hell is that the donut thats 7.50 take that off” and i was like “hah warned you, thanks for trying” 😭😭 breakfast buffet also made my sister violently ill as soon as we got home yesterday. still had a smashing time at the park thouh, the rides are amazing! luckily she wasn’t ill until the evening we got home because we left park at 11.

Imagine it now, it's Summer holidays luckily and hopefully 1st week in September going for the 1st time to Legoland Windsor, what are the chances of it being quiet or busy?

It will still be pretty busy, however should be less then summer... Lego Land is always a very busy park whenever I have been, so all ill say is be prepared to queue!!

Recently stayed at Splash Landings and the Alton Towers hotel and both offer food until late. At 2030 the restaurant closed and it was pizzas only which were actually really good!! They're popular though so there was a long wait.
And £10 to park ALL DAY is a bargain anywhere, let alone a Theme Park! Try parking in a typical British city for a day and see how much it costs 😄
Outdoor slides were recently being refurbished but the Master Blaster and the other 2 were running perfectly for us thankfully. It was fun.
And they can't say if they expect there to be lots of school trips as it's safeguarding for the kids.
I can't argue with the extremely high prices though 😂
I made the mistake too of recently going when there was about 15k kids there for end of term trips. It was horrendous 🤣

4:18 .... I experienced the exact same thing. average wait for TH13TEEN was supposed to be an hour, took nearly 2, then we got asked to leave the queue because it had closed for maintenance as we got to the front.

better to join the thirteen queue when it says about 20-30 minutes. the problem is you just have to find when the park wont be that busy

I used to work at Alton towers from August 2020 to November 2023. The management are horrible. They hire children who don’t care about anything I was one of the most hardworking employees and they fired me due to me having unreliable mental health which was there fault as they were so horrible to us staff. The park had started to get worse and worse as the years go on I don’t even want to go there anymore

And to add to this. The staff will talk about the people who complain and laugh after you’ve gone. Absolutely disgusting. Honesty they fired a lot of hard working staff for stupid reasons like having absences for illness (which can’t me helped) and the whole place is so toxic. Rumours spread it’s like bloody high school! Managers have favourites and the hours they make people work for minimum wage is ridiculous. My best friend still works there as an operator in CBeebies and the job and pressure has gotten so much that he’s lost his whole fun personality and has become miserable. Honestly towers need to take a look at what they’re doing. It doesn’t matter that we get new rides or new events or whatever. The staff aren’t happy there anymore and the people complaining mentally affects them, but to be honest it’s the managers who let them take the fall. Absolutely disgusting

Avoid all these by not going when school trips are
