I starting thinking of giving up on editing, but I tried over and over again and I made a total success on my first edit, it’s not as cool looking, fancy or anything like that, you just have to wait with patience and practice.
Something I recommended: Kind of Script your 1v1 edit. Like write the categories you would be ranking them by, then write who would win, then add up the scores and decide the winner from there. It’s easier to remember if the info is written down, unlike just trying to remember it

Alright I've been doing vs edits for a while and I can give sum tips to the new comers 1 you needa add the vs strength speed ect but u also need to include the characters gifs if constitly adding overlays and. Matching up the gifs perfectly is too overwhelming fret not All u have to do is do it 1 time so match them up get timib right and export and from now on whenever u wanna add the strength speed ect shot just add that video 2 add cool transitions if ur looking to grow on yt shorts like I have u need to keep ur audience engaged with interesting transitions catchy songs in the background I recommend shake transition don't forget to apply it to all clips 3 chose high quality gifs unless ur making a joke vs edit you need the clips to be high quality don't go looking for 4k ones tho u will not find them 4 if you can match the beats to the timing of when a character gets a point 5 u most also understand the points system if a character gets one point he/shes number will always come first let's say ur doing one of batman vs hulk hulk is stronger and maxes out strength so do 10-5 make 1 being least I'm that ability 10 being most also so a little research before giving a character a point see who's actually better at that skill And uh ur good

Dsmn seeing gif edits bring back me as a beginner of editing also I learned how to edit on myself I just saw tikiniky editing than I used gifs and added songsthat had perfect timing and I matched the timing with he gifs than later on 6 months after my first 1v1 micheal myers vs art the clown I made a remake and it was much better now I just use and make clips for myself and use them to mae better qaulity videos

Preferably, if you want perfectly aligned gifs, I suggest putting the text first before the gifs.

I am not that very skilled with CapCut and I actually found this video kind of confusing.
