With 300k on it and unknown injectors and unknown pump, your IP timing is WAY off. You shouldn’t have to use ether at all. These trucks should fire right up even around 32 degrees. Look up High Stable Garage, he’s got dozens upon dozens of quick cold starts. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions, I’m happy to help and want to keep these IdIs on the on the road for many more years to come
@@adamwuttemberger7923 no problem. Try to avoid using ether when your glowplugs are cycling, too, because you can grenade the motor if the predetonation is bad enough. These are huge compression motors and ether wasn’t designed for 21:1 compression in mind.
@@adamwuttemberger7923 I’ll tell you another trick though that’s better for the motor. You can use the gas fumes that vent out from a rag that’s tied around your injector line, and set the rag in the mouth of your breather. The gas fumes do the same thing as ether but less violently
Well most summed up. ‘93-‘94 IDI was turbo. Before that there was dealer installed options. It’s not “manual” injection. Mechanical is the word you want. Manual🤣
Nice truck !! But some of your info is incorrect. 94.5 model year the powerstroke came out .. also the turboed option for the idi was available for a decade from aftermarket companies for the idis .. was a factory option in 93-94.5 another fun fact idis were de tuned in 93 when they added the turbo to not make the new upcoming powerstroke weak
I love how loud it is. I got a 94 f350 dually myself
Also from Ontario! Thats one bad obs dude I love it!
Best looking body style of Ford.
Need one of these
Pretty cool. I've got a 95 f-250 7.3 with 300k . I have to use ether when it dips below 60 degrees

That's when ford was good
Agreed!
Yeah when they used engines they didn't build

you look like Leonardo DiCaprio when you spit. Sweet truck also
Clean truck though. Really dig it, as a self-admitted Ford hater
94.5 the powerstroke came out
I have a 1993.5 ford f-250 7.3 idi turbo diesel.

Great truck but take that TDI front end out and slap a Dana 60 in her
700 km how many is in miles?
Wrong year it was 1993
Your wrong. It was 1993 and 1994.5 that they offered this motor
Wat size wheels n tires and lift?
