Hello! Thanks for your video. Will 24-70 sigma lens and mc-11 adapter work in combination with in-body stabilisation of sony fx3? Or you have to rely only on the lens OS stabilisation? What if you turn stabilisation off on the lens, can you use the sony sensor stabilisation? Thanks!
Great video! Thanks for making this. I have the GM 35 and 50 but thinking of getting these two lenses with adapters for A7SIII, BMCC6K and Canon EOS 5 film camera.
Nice! Ya, I love mine. Haven't regretted it. However, one thing I'd note is that I wish the focus and zoom rings were a little more smooth for video work. The GM lenses are still better for that.
i was just looking for that review! half of the users tell mc11 is great than the other half says its worse, i guess thats because lens firmware older, im just very happy to see result of 24-70 is perfect, because i have fuji canon any sony with this adapter i can no longer have to buy e mount lenses!
Glad you found it helpful! I've been using it on the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Art lens for several years now with no issues in performance and I don't feel the need to "upgrade" to the Sony version.
Hey! Thanks for the question. I actually made a video about that here: ruclips.net/video/i9TokBdUoeo/видео.html Short answer - A LOT OF POLYGONS! haha. Definitely more than I need for my work. However, I'll admit that the next machine I buy, I'll probably invest in more RAM since when I'm doing a lot of heavy multi-tasking, sometimes I do notice some bottlenecking. But overall, it's been a really great machine none-the-less. Check out the video for a more full explanation. For me, I didn't chose to get Apple Care. I've had Macs before and never needed Apple Care. But I'm also quite tech-savvy, so I usually try to fix things myself. Depending on your situation, Apple Care might be worth it for the peace of mind. But, for me, as I'm using my Mac for business and it basically paid for itself fairly quickly, I figured it's not worth getting the Apple Care since I'll probably upgrade it before it breaks anyways.
hey nice video, Only one lens I want for my ZVE1 which one I should go for shooting outdoor, I have sigma 16mm 1.4 dc but it is apsc purchased for my zve10, my budget is around 600 to 700 usd. BTW have you forgot to add time stamp?
Hey - thanks for the question! And yes, I'll add the timestamps - my bad. Thanks for pointing that out👍🏽🙂 it was on my to-do list. I think it depends on what you want to use the lens for. If you're wanting a solid all-round budget lens, then check out the Sigma 24-70 Art (great quality, well built) or the Tamron 28-70 f/2.8 for a cheaper alternative that has pretty decent image quality (but without stabilization and no weather sealing). If you're needing a super wide lens, I've really been loving the Viltrox 16mm f/1.8 full frame prime lens and will probably do a video on it later at some point. Both Sigma and Tamron also have great wide angle zoom lenses at f/2.8 which are good budget alternatives to the more expensive Sony lenses. But generally speaking, I've found that Sigma's build quality is superior to Tamron. IMO, I'd only go with the Tamron lenses if budget and weight are a major hindrance for you. Hope that helps! There are other considerations too, but I'd need to know more about your primary use case.
@@drnareshchauhan - oh nice! Ya, then I think that the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 will be the best option closest to your budget range - amzn.to/49oPCcS (FYI - Affiliate link) It doesn't have optical stabilization built in, but your ZVE1 has in-body stabilization, so that should help. However, if you're going to be doing a lot of selfie-style vlogging, you might want to check out the Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 instead - amzn.to/49jQwHQ (FYI - Affiliate link) It's a wider-angle lens, so it'll be better for if you're holding the camera out to film yourself a lot. Unfortunately, in that price range, I don't know of many other options that are still decent quality. You could also try to see if you could get something second-hand on Facebook Marketplace. I've bought a few lenses like that, and if they've been well cared for, it can be a great way to find a deal. I included my affiliate links in the comment if you decide to buy new from Amazon, but also totally understand looking out for a good deal too! haha ;) All the best with your new adventure vlogging!
Why the adapter when sigma made a bunch of lenses for sony e-mount? Sure it hasn't released a 70-200 yet, but they have already announced it. Meanwhile one can buy the 24-70 and the 14-28 or the 16-28, all of them are f2.8
Thanks for the question! Because for some reason Sigma didn't put OSS in the 24-70mm E-mount version. That was originally why I bought the Canon EF mount version with the MC-11 adapter. That way I get the stabilization, and the MC-11 works perfectly with Sigma lenses. I think if OSS isn't an issue for you, then the existing Sigma E-mount zooms are great too! I'm considering getting one of the wide-angle zooms later myself. :)
Are you thinking about getting a lens adapter? Tell me which one and why down below!
