UPDATE! Lone reached out to me after making this video to let me know that similar to Lume you CAN use it all over your body. They just haven't been big on advertising that. So, yay! With that new knowledge, Lone is my official fav thus far in the natural deodorant saga.
Hallease cost?
Jamise Gilmore 9:28 ; $9.95
@Dillon Davis we all know you and Russell are the same person 😂 and both accounts were started at the exact same time
I have excessive sweating, and it’s aggravated by anxiety. I just be not wanting to smell.
Same! I'm slowly becoming okay with the excessive sweating, where my anxiety begins to kick in is when I can smell the BO starting to happen.
Yessss! Me too!!! When will that happen??
😭😭
I have been using lume for 6 months, I love it & will not be returning to regular deodorant. Lume is not a anti prespriant, that means you will sweat. I like to sweat as long as it does not smell because to me it's healthy we are supposed to sweat. My underarms are no longer irritated & I stay fresh all day. I wish they will come out with more sents. #Lume
Your hair reminds me of Toni Morrison’s! So fly. Great review as usual! i was actually watching your old Lume one last night, so CRAZY timing. Thanks for stepping out on faith with the natural deodorants to give us the tea. You’re a hero.
Sweetie I've used regular deodorant everywhere on my body for years. Thanks for the review on this one, I'll be sure to try it out. The only thing with using regular deodorant on your private area it's itchy sometimes and you'll bump up.
I actually bought the Lone deodorant myself (unscented) during the spring time have, and you're right it does have a creamy lotion feel to it. I have to swipe it on a certain way, because it will spread to parts of my arm (which I really don't like). It also made my underarm become discolored/dark. And yes, try Native I wanna know what's the REAL tea!
I was one of the people suggesting this. With that sea salt *be careful using it right after shaving, if you shave.* I love Lone. But I can't use the Bold anymore. The formula and packaging changed slightly (they'd had problems with the tubes getting jammed). It now uses shea butter. For many it's not a problem. I have a shea sensitivity.😥
Good thing I like their solid.
Oh no!
I could listen to you talk forever! Thank you for your review videos! Gonna try some of these.
I'm ready to try lume, and an antiperspirant; I was going to try lone before watching this video. I have hyperdydrosis too, but fall/winter is actually worse for me because central heating is already on blast everywhere. I wanted to try Native until I saw Azidee's post about how they let that racist comment one of their customers made towards Native Americans slide.
I really loved Stink Bug vanilla mint but all these natural deoderants only seem to work for me for about 2 months, thenI have to switch. I would love to find something I never had to switch again!
Really nice review! First time seeing one of your videos. Chill music, clear voice, and nice personal tone. Thanks for the video! 😊
I just recently got Lone and its been a life saver. All the other brands made me stink after only a couple hours. But this brand has lasted me all day.
Ugh. I want to love natural deodorants but the way my armpits and body odor are setup - I can’t.
😔😔
Do a arm pit detox. This helps a lot with the odor. It’s a mixture of 1 tablespoon bentonite clay, 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar, and enough water to make a paste. Let it sit 5-20 minutes and do it everyday until odor is gone.
@Nadiyah 😮 thanks
@@tiaraa5382 Also apple cider vinegar under your arm cut smells instantly.
Queen Helene tea tree deodorant! I love it.
I have always liked the Queen Helene Mint Julep deo. It works (and I'm a plus size girl who gets stinky without a good product), it never gets funky, and it goes on smoothly (no CHUNKS- looking at you, Native, Schmidt's, and Primal Pit Paste). Plus, it's super inexpensive, which is really nice.
I want to try Lume, but it has Almond oil. I use Greengoo and it's amazing. I neutralize my armpits with tea tree oil, then put on deodorant. I have about 5-6.
You should review Greengoo gel deodorant and let us know what you think.
Are you allergic to Almond oil?
Switched to soft n fresh natural deodrant about 4 months ago because it is the only one available in drugstores where i live. It definitely takes getting used to. Contemplated going back to antiperspirant almost everyday. Hate that I can'smell' myself and have to reapply within 2hrs of applicatin less if Iam in the sun. Might have to get a card to buy this brand online now.
San Antonio!!! Woop Woop! ( I was like, oh she's from Texas, cool! ... OH SHIT SHE'S HERE! REPRESENT! )
Just what I was looking for. thank you!
Thanks for the review. However, if you're basing on price point, you're getting a 2 oz tube with Lone compared to 3 oz with Lume. Lume is actually comparable in price point when adjusting for that.
I too sweat excessively and use antiperspirant especially during the Florida's summers. However since its "fall" here, I have switched to Dr. Teal's Coconut Oil & Essential Oils Aluminum Free deodorant. I use their lotion and body wash as well. With the deodorant you have to use water to activate it. So far I like it and found not to have a odor; however, the verdict is still out to see if it will hold up during workouts. Heard of lume and really like that I can use it on other sensitive body parts. May give it a try. Tfs
Just FYI I updated in the comments but Lone is also good for all over the body they just don't advertise and I prefer Lone over Lume
This is the first time I saw your video & your voice was so soothing sucked me in like a vacuum... I enjoyed your review & just ordered Loon as a result!! I'm a Native user...I love their scented deodorants they work decently.. But if you perspire profusely I don't think it would be a good match. Also it's unfortunate but I find they tend to discolor/ stain some of my clothing a bit in the armpit area a bit after wear & that's QUITE frustrating.
I like everything about you and your videos!
Yay! Tell your friends!
After using Lone for most of 2019, I recently picked up the Arm and Hammer natural deo and find I like it more than Lone. I actually sweat a bit less and the scent, much like Irish Spring, stays around much longer than Lone Lavender Mint Bold.
I wonder if theyve changed their formula. It stopped working for me which was why I started trying other natural deodorants
So did i miss the update? How is it in the heat?
I'm trying lume however it does have a clammy dry feeling so I reapply
Native does not work for me at all. It constantly burned under my arms and did nothing for the odor or nothing towards stopping sweat
I may have to try these because I remember when you did a natural products video awhile ago and you reviewed Tom's, arm and hammer and a few others. I tried Tom's. Arm and hammer and I forgot the other one but they didnt work for me. I was a little musty at the end of the day and that was a no go.
Lone is legit my favorite thus far, I never liked Toms. Also, Lone reached out to me and let me know that similar to Lume you can use it all over your body so 😎 now it's legit my FAVORITE.
@@hallease I will definitely try it.
The good people want to know how it’s been holding up this summer 🥵 just bought their tube version because of you (@Lone you need to partner with her!)
Lume uses Dimethacon to get the dry feeling. Not happy that ingredient is a lab created silicon 😥
SO glad I found your video
I tried Lume and I can smell all the different scents in it and a couple of them smell gross to me but it helps with body odor. I tried the Native one and it made my armpits very dark and gave me lumps underneath smh it was weird. But I would love to find one that don’t smell bad but actually works good❤️ I haven’t tried Lone though🤔
Lume is the Bomb
Perfect speaker. Do you sing?
do you do a bentinite clay arm pit detox
This is very useful to helping natural deodorants work better!
I've been using Lone deodorant for about a month and haven't used any antiperspirants. The clay speeds up the process from what I hear but my body has balanced out already.
AAAAAaaaaand Lone won't ship to Alaska.
I agree mint is toooooo much, especially under your arms!!!!!!
For those with hyperhidrosis. Do u shower/wash ur pits once a day? Twice a day? Does the frequent washing help or does it not matter at all ull still smell once the sweat come?
I’ll give you a lil rundown on BO.
So, it depends what sweat glands are being affected. Eccrine glands produce sweat when your body is too warm. It’s mostly water, thin, and the bacteria that feed on it don’t produce a strong smell.
Apocrine glands produce sweat when you’re stressed or hormonal. The sweat they make is oily, and when bacteria feast on it, it STANKS.
What works best for me is using a salicylic acid/charcoal face wash. The salicylic acid is antibacterial and kills off the beasties. The charcoal gets rid of odor well. Then I’ll apply an anti-pers deo to prevent sweating.
Cristina Dellinger Where can I purchase salicylic acid/charcoal face wash?
But what about the performance!? That is what matters most. Will this help us hyperhidrosis people out 😑😑
As I mentioned in the video, I like it and it works, but it's fall so I'm not sure how it would stack up during a Texas summer.
I do not like any scented deodorant or anti-perspirant. Either you are not weird or it makes two of us.
I'm slowly beginning to move away from a lot of scented things the older I get, especially with lotions now. I mostly use unscented lotions and deodorants.
Make that 3, because I don't care for deodorants to be scented either.
Me too! Can't stand scented deodorants. Don't want tingly armpits from tea tree or peppermint either.
OMG NOOOOOOOO DONT TRY NATIVE!!! It's not a good deoderant at all! I tried it myself and it didnt do much to cover my smell and made my pits dark! I also know multiple ppl that tried it and said it didnt work for them either! PLUS the brand is problematic. Azie mentioned how they responded to a complaint about a customer smelling bad like a Native person and didn't call them out on it 😡😡😡
🌾🌾👀🌾🌾
I already bought it thoooo.....
@@hallease Send 👏🏾 it 👏🏾 back 👏🏾 😊

Bla bla bla get to the point!❤

ThatChickKim, I’ve actually tried Native and it’s okay. They have a good variety of scents (the only one I’ve tried is coconut vanilla, smells okay) It still allows sweat but covers the smell. Sometimes even after using it I’ll still be a little stinky. But the only big “con” is the texture, it’s very rough, which is quite weird.
