I'm in love with this concerto at the moment, and the fiddle concertos too. Really mesmerising stuff. I can't get into the piano concertos so far, but I'll keep listening.

Beautiful music that soothes my soul. Some passages made me think of Alan Hovhaness.

Wow, I thought I knew a bit about Tveitt but I never know about this Harp concerto ! Intriguing, though not, IMO, on a par with the piano and hardangerfele concerti. The beginning is magical, and there is a lot of wonderfully evocative writing throughout, but the ruminative mood ultimately seems too persistent. I wish Tveitt had programmed a little more action. Still, great to hear, and sincere thanks for your great channel and wonderful uploads.

It's shocking how often composers forget about basic necessities like contrasts, variety, and a strong ending.
