By the way, about 20 years ago I worked for a software company owned by Xerox, and we had an Alto that was used to track action requests (bug fixes and feature implementations). The Xerox Alto had a GUI and mouse that Apple would copy for the Macintosh in the 1980s, but the Alto was first made in 1973. Think about that. The primitive Apple 1 was made in 1976--3 years after the first personal computer that had a GUI and mouse. I guess it was too far ahead of its time to succeed, unfortunately for Xerox. Just keep in mind that the future of personal computing had already existed for years before ordinary people started buying computers.
I keep drinks next to my computers all the time, and nothing bad has ever happened. The key is to not spill your drink on it, and preferably not at all. I realize that some people can't do this. Obviously they have some kind of drinking problem. ;)
