You know, i think the human race has softened since the Viking days. VERY FEW people in modern times TRULY KNOW what it feels like to be in the middle of a war but yet not actually be afriad and instead revel in it. Only the few who join the military could understand it, and even fewer still who actially go to war and have felt it. When i was in Iraq back in 2009, being mortared and shot at, was the ONLY time i have been in that kind of danger and NOT ONCE ever being afraid. In fact, it never even crossed my mind until after i had LEFT. And i would go back IN A HEART BEAT. I have actually never felt MORE ALIVE than back then. Sometimes i wonder if thats just our ancestor's viking blood running through the veins of us who are like that. I just FELT that if i was to die there in battle, that it would have been a GOOD DEATH to make even Odin smile....lol.

You know, i think the human race has softened since the Viking days. VERY FEW people in modern times TRULY KNOW what it feels like to be in the middle of a war but yet not actually be afriad and instead revel in it. Only the few who join the military could understand it, and even fewer still who actially go to war and have felt it. When i was in Iraq back in 2009, being mortared and shot at, was the ONLY time i have been in that kind of danger and NOT ONCE ever being afraid. In fact, it never even crossed my mind until after i had LEFT. And i would go back IN A HEART BEAT. I have actually never felt MORE ALIVE than back then. Sometimes i wonder if thats just our ancestor's viking blood running through the veins of us who are like that. I just FELT that if i was to die there in battle, that it would have been a GOOD DEATH to make even Odin smile....lol.
