#BondiRescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences #BondiBeach dishes up.
In ‘Bondi Rescue’ the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxy, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

I had an episode & my cousin freaked out so she called the ambulance & by the time I had composed myself, I was feeling so sick & guilty for wasting the emergency service time but they reassured me that a life being checked on is a life saved regardless of our thoughts.

And rarely explains why. AS an RN I know what he's worried about is secondary drowning. After a near drowning people used to die follow day until we realized what was going on n kept in hospital for monitoring over night

As an American I’m constantly blown away by how friendly and patient the Aussies and Canadians are. It’s a whole different vibe. Our cops are attack dogs who see themselves as separate from the other humans they “protect and serve”. We could learn a lot about de escalation from them!

It depends on how you handle it. Moderation. I've drank at the beach plenty of times. You have to behave yourself and mind your own business.
You'll be fine as long as your drunkness subside, but it's never okay to go in while still drunk.
I'm brazilian and here is just so normal to drink everywhere, including the beaches and i swear, I've never seen anyone on the beach here as drunk as these people

me and my friends are used to go to the beach with bottles of vodka, drink a lot there and just act normal

I was thinking about this. I don't drink much (really, I can spend one or two years without a single drop of alcohol and when I drink is never more than 3l of wine in a whole year) but I have friends who like to drink a lot. And I live in Maceió, so we have beaches everywhere and I never saw people so drunk on the sea. Seeing theses videos kind of got me scary.

I have been to Bondi and now live in Victoria. I nearly drowned and thanks to these beautiful people, I am still alive and healthy! I love you guys soooo much and thank you for saving my life. I’m now 11 and donate ‘super thanks’ money all the time.

I think the reason why I like this so much is because they give the person a chance. They watch, give warnings ( maybe too many sometimes ) and then when it becomes a serious danger or threat they call the police
