hey guys so in this video i show you how to swap over the internals of one headlamp to another new backing case shell.... in my case my black back case was all broken and old so i decided tp do this myself in order to save money ...and not have to buy a entire new headlight which would have costed close to 750-1500 aud ...instead this costed me 200 aud for both shipped to my door...and they fit perfectly...
saving me a fortune
i did struggle with certain parts but i stil managed to get through it and i wanted to share with you guys how you can do this yourself as well
you will see first hand how to disassemble the entire headlight and remove every piece that makes up the headlight
this will be handy so you can replace certain parts if need be
things like the motors
the main beam
high beam
i had to fix the wired for the parking lights at one stage
etc...

this is just for one side but if you need the other just tell them and they will arrange it
i paid express and it arrived at my door step in less then 2 weeks

cool vid, those high beams led should be lighting sideways though, light output should be much better as well.... but is more of a concern on low beams... keep up the good work

some parts but believe me i struggled with the one L-R adjuster pin and almost broke the case open and even snapped off lil bits to try and figure it out then i finally gave it a go and boom it came out...i get stuck like anyone and i even posted on the forums asking for help...but i managed to figure it out anyways...and i pride myself in doing so.....most ppl give up and knowing they dont need the back case anymore they just break it or cut it open..but i was determined to prevail ..and i did

ANOTHER great video thank you you ,ask you a question on rattly tin sound when start car in morning and cold ,have put an timing chain adjuster in timing marks are good ,cam adjusters maybe old merc w203 17 years drives like a dream sounds like nightmare ha ha ha cheers
firstly thank you for your kind words ..im flattered ....honestly i have no idea without being able to listen and see it for myself ..sometimes hearing will help to locate where the sound comes from and also familiar sounds can help skilful mechanics know whats wrong. But im definitely not one of them ..lol... i just diy at home..and am completely self taught... i wish i could help more but .. i honestly have no idea bud.. id suggest googling what your hearing and check forums..there are so many helpful fully qualified merc technician on the forums ..its amazing the help u can get all from the comfort of your own home

Hi I watched your video on how to remove the lens and so forth now I need a complete wiring for my headlight I have 2010 C300 W204
check Google or meecedes forum u can get it there.. u can even buy a complete wiring guide for w204 on ebay or Google it and it will show u .. I don't have a wiring guide ... or on forums u can ask and someone will help u too... I haven't got a wiring guide I just did trial and error

Do you mean the clear lens I Didn't buy that I just used my old lens but everything fits perfectly

Would you mind in doing a tutorial on how to black out the internals of the headlight? Also... can you fit a projector in the high beam (sort of like BMW 1 Series have) and run both bulbs on low beams.... I mean in my opinion you'd need another balast and an H7 bixenon, right? Would be cool to have double the amount of light for low beam. Waiting for your comments.
yers u can but u need to do some modifying i was going to do that but i havent found a projector to fit yet... has to be about 2.25"

Hey Mike by any chance do you know how to remove the silver shroud around the projector itself? Is it clipped on or are there screws which need to be removed to actually gets to the lens itself/access to the actual projector? Thank you

W204 has 2 horns but recently found 1 horn is no sound, do you have idea to resolve this kind of problem?
check your connection at your airbag steering wheel...ensure no wires have come loose... might be worth scanning the car to search for faults..narrow down your issue
Bro since we have an identical car. C you do me a favor please? Can you please check your AC compressor clutch if it is always spinning? Mine does spin all the time regardless of whether the AC is turned on or off. Thank you.
I can tell u now its not always on

If u have money get a star diagnoatic tool ita like 600 with no computer and u run it off ur own laptop or the icarsoft cr II PLUS is agreat scanner made specifically for benz i have a video ahowing how i reset the airbag using it
If ur ac is still working thats a good sign still.... but having ur ac fan constantly on im unsure of ... as i always say im no mechanic but i do my research
Dear sir.. For some reason.. I did open the cover for my w204 2010 headlight cover... I become stuck how to open the sheild of lens projector.. Cant find any screw like what you did...
it should be the same as mine... but if not look carefully at what u are removing and follow the part around .. look for the relating screws and clips.... but i dont see how they are different..should be the same... do u have bi xenon or just halogen as in non bixenon
