The protagonist sighs a lot. He always sounds distressed and upset no matter what is going on, which is understandable considering his situation but it just comes off as disingenuous and annoying when it's as frequent as he does it. He also just so happens to narrate everything he is thinking and needs to do. It's less of a "simulator" or game for that matter and more of a movie. Your actions don't really do anything significant other than progress the plot, you can't mess up a case or come to an incorrect conclusion: your hand is held the entire time and you are just meant to experience the story the developers want to say. There is no "sandbox mode" where you can just try and solve cases using the myriad of tools at your disposal. There's about 4 hours of gameplay. The game looks great and has an interesting premise, but if you are looking for a game like the Mortuary Assistant, this is not it.

Seen a lot of negative reviews on Steam, mostly criticizing the bugs but also because it's not a real "simulator", therefore, falsely advertised. I mean, I get it, but if you watch the trailer it's very obvious it's more of a narrative experience and not an actual simulator game. I guess they should have named it differently? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Either way, it looks compelling to me... Apart from the bugs.
