She is clearly an old and very wise soul! I see so many African American Women of the past standing behind her... Their hands on her shoulder. Her voice rings out the promise that there is rising light chasing away the darkness. Let’s continue to hear from her on the national stage!

Wow, Amanda. You really encapsulated what the world, as well as America, needed to hear.
Let's hope all of America, and more and more of the world, will not only hear, but actually heed your words.
We need to work together as a world to create equality, opportunity and justice for all, and sensible economic and political systems that embody those values rather than ones that protect the privilege of special interest groups and corporations.
Politics needs to become based much, much more on empathy, intelligence, research and facts rather than partisan ideology, and power needs to be exercised in the interests of all, not just for a party, not just for a nation even, but for all life on Earth, now and always. If not now, when?
