2 simple hacks for drilling without making a mess

Drilling can be messy, dust all over the place makes you wanna quit this work before you even start! There are two clever ways to avoid the unwanted mess while drilling overhead and into the wall. Try them out and let us know how it worked.

This is fantastic! I used my power drill yesterday as I needed to drill the hole in 12 different places and my walls are very thick concrete and brick walls into a building that's stood for over a 100 years so tough. The dust was everywhere! so the paper up trick is fantastic. Using a Vacuum is ok if you have someone there to hold it, but if you're on your own then not possible as I've said to someone below! A waste-less trick that I do is to ask someone to hold a vacuum cleaner nozzle just under where you want to drill the hole!

That's ok if you have someone there to hold it - BUT if you're on your own then it's IMPOSSIBLE to hold the vacuum and use a power drill , especially an SDS Plus rotary Hammer Drill which requires two hands to hold as it is very powerful and heavy plus trying to hold a vacuum at the same time!🌹

Pretty stupid way to hold the cup when drilling the bottom hole. You should know some idiot with limited tool skills is going to drill right through their palm.
