Not only SW but the modulars came out, power miners, space police, Aqua raiders, Mars mission and so many others were on store shelves. Just a great time to be a kid or AFOL

I agree, I also hope they make a new version of the Venator star destroyer in 2020.
I was to young back in 2013 to actually be smart and save money. But now since I'm older and have a job I can probably get one. Hopefully they make it.

I was 14 when I got the gunship, I had good grades and saved up some money.
The 2019 tantive IV is really missing here it's such a great set

Was it just me but I loved all of the Jabba sets like the sail barge and skiff and rancor pit and the palace it was just so good

I've only been collecting since late 2016 early 2017. I used to collect legos from 1998-2008. Really missed out on all the great sets from 2010-2015. Got most of them second hand on ebay.
I woulda put the tantive iv set from 2019 in honorable mentions at least. Such a solid set. Amazing size and piece count for $200

We don't ever see it flying I don't think though, it's just docked in the hangar IIRC

@@techedspy of course, SPOILERS INCOMING!!! In the scene you could see in the trailer when they safe chewie from the star destroyer. It's only there for a few seconds, but it's pretty big so you can defo see it

Well the Venator wasn’t a thing till 2003ish with the micro series so actually at the time of your comment, you were only waiting 17ish.

The 2010 turbo tank was my favourite toy ever probably I remember asking for it for a year and finally getting it and getting so excited that there were three Jedi and two cool clones as well as cad bane. I loved everything about this set and seeing it makes me quite emotional.

I remember seeing the executor from outside a store window. I used to want it so much. I really wanted a lego set. I didn’t have any at the time. The same day my parents let me go into the store and pick a set. I saw several sets. The Rancor Pit and the 2012 X wing I remember considering, but even though these sets were cool and larger. My 9 year old self eventually went with the 2012 Battle Pack. All because of the Arc Trooper. Man this vid was such a crazy throwback. It unlocked so many memories.

2014 was the year I really got into Lego Star Wars and Star Wars in general. A huge part of that was thanks to you, your 2013 clone army and your Kashyyyk moc, and I just wanted to thank you for that. I do think LSW has gotten worse since then, but I still get most of the sets and Star Wars in general is a huge thing in my life, so thank you❤️

I remember I got 3 droid troop carriers and 2 of the separatist tanks and made a geonosis set up with my clones. Good times
Also the clone battle packs were great because you could get 4 specialised clones for a cheap price

@@ak101clan i have the clone wars gunship but all the stickers went off on the edges and the white became a bit yellow because it was laying in a bad place for years :(
I missed both the clone wars one and the 2013 one. I really hope LEGO remakes it next year.

The passion you have for the sets makes it hard to argue any of your calls. As a OT die hard fan, I would have made a couple of swaps, though, Jabbas Palace in 2012, and some mention of the UCS snowspeeder (2017) and y- wing (2018) would have been nice. Hopefully a UCS remake of Death Star 2 will top 2020. Happy new year to you and all the best for the 2020s!

I found a 2013 gunship on Ebay this summer for £75 it was about 95% complete. I spent a further £10 sourcing all the pieces to make it complete. It now has a place as my favourite set of all time. Still amazed at the price I got it for
2012 Palpatine’s Arrest is one of my favorite sets bc it’s great for display and the mini figs are so good

Technically you can see Kylo's shuttle in the background in the hanger when General Pryde comes across the ship that Rey, Finn, and Poe used to board the star destroyer.

When I was a child I didn't have enough money to buy a Lego star wars set. That's why I liked to see the sets on the shelves of the Lego stores in my country. Thanks to you I can say that it was worth staying hours watching the Lego boxes and being able to see them again in your video. :D
Hard to pick my favorites of the decade but you definitely included a bunch of them. The 2013 Gunship, 2013 AT-TE, Palpatine’s Arrest and the Battle OG Naboo droid carrier are some of the best Star Wars sets Lego has made. I hope that lego releases a UCS droid control ship with interior or Invisible Hand with interior, plus proper redesigns of the MTT and Clone Turbo Tank. Also hoping for 501st battle packs in the future. Great list!!

When I was younger my parents got me the republic attack gunship for Christmas but it had the stickers on the front sides and didn’t have the mounted turret bubble things on it, I still have to this day

Awesome video. I can not agree more with you that 2014 was one of the best eras of LEGO Star Wars but I was disappointed to see the 2019 Tantive Four not on the list.
I don't want to be "that person", but... the AT-ST Raider is from Chapter 4 of the Mandalorian, not Chapter 3. Great Video though; I really enjoyed it!

I agree, 2014 was undeniably the best year of the decade for LEGO SW. all of the OT sets were amazing and I love them and so glad I picked up most of the sets from that year.
And still no OT Tie Bomber remake nor an AT-ACT from Rogue One.
