That clone turbo tank was my first big set and I fondly remember buying it and playing with it, the Kashyyk scout trooper became my Lego Master Chief as I was also really into Halo 2 at the time
Of all the lego star wars sets that should be re released I think the mtt is the one. Over a decade on from its release its still the best mtt ever made. As a kid I once got the instructions online and built the mtt with my parts, it wasn't color accurate but I still loved it to bits. Every year I used to go to toysrus on my birthday to pick out a present and I remeber seeing the turbo tank and playing with the light up mace windu through the box (never got it tho 😢)
I’m really glad you chose the AAT from 2000. I don’t have it yet but I’m really considering it. Honestly, it’s the best AAT tied with the one from 2009. It’s awesome and so much better then the 2020 one. I feel like LEGO is devolving with their AATs instead of evolving like they should be.
I remember saving up for a big Lego when I was about 10 years old, and then when I got to the Lego store, the Republic Dropship with AT-OT was on a huge discount so I got it for 750 DKK. (About $120) It was my favourite, not just Star Wars set, but just Lego set of all time. Good pick
Star destroyer made me tear up.. I was a fan of the legos before I had seen the movies, and my dad who I seldom saw took each weekend he saw me over 2 months to show my brother and I all 6 films. They stuck in my head and I was a fan ever since.
That turbo tank hits different. When I got the 2nd iteration turbo tank from the clone wars off eBay my body literally was shaking and I had goosebumps truly a moment that doesn’t come often. I got the set pre owned but came with all figures for 90$ in 2019 complete, best deal of my life seriously. Straight euphoria for me being a Lego Star Wars fan since the age of 8. One day I hope to own all the old sets but slowly but surely I’ll get there. I would’ve had more of the 2014-2018 sets but that phase of my life I was into cars and girls and missed a lot of the great sets that came out. I hid my legos and was embarrassed to have them out. Now idgaf I proudly display my passion for Star Wars and I don’t ever feel ashamed!
Funny story about the MTT. My friend’s babysitter got him it for his birthday and he invited me over to build it with him then we left the room for one second to come back to his younger brother lifting it above his head and slamming it to the floor. Words could not describe how mad my friend was.
Of all ten of those sets, I have eight of them myself. I don't have the clone turbo tank or the AAT because those particular versions were available before I discovered Lego. Even so, those were some great choices, but I'll have my own favorites.
Great wee list. Can really see why anyone would love those sets. I've recently gotten back into collecting since rogue one and two of my favourites are the rebels at-te and the resistance bomber. Both wonderful designs imo. Classic sets that I still own and adore are the Jango's Slave 1 from 2002 and the ARC 170 2005. Love em!
@@obi-wankenobi5447 I feel like LEGO is running out of soul. They are trying to become some super brand that only gets bought because of their logo. List is good. But a feel like the Death Star takes the top spot because of its mini figure count, piece count, playability not being hampered by being a nice display piece. I mean that set was in Lego catalogues for years and they still make it (with new printed figures and slight updates) to this day
Nice to see some love for the prequels, I grew up in the 90s and remember a lot of hate for the prequels but I didn’t mind them, it’s nice to see people that were kids during the prequels growing up to love them. In the unlikely event they ever do another one they should include the speeder bike as a side-build.

Nice. We’re the same age so we grew up with the same sets. I loved the original episode 3 sets so much. Only set on the list I don’t have is the Droid carrier. Excited for the new gunship
The first set you mention is the classic AAT. Dude, you hooked me right away. That version absolutely holds up. I won't worry about commenting on your other picks, but I do support them. A few disagreements, but whatever, you mentioned that AAT and said it was the best despite the other versions that many would say are better. Seriously, if I ever get a design position at LEGO, I'm bringing back those UFO panels. People will accuse me of reintroducing POOP, but you find a better way to make the AAT out of LEGO at proper playset scale. You cannot do it without those UFO panels.
Always wanted the dropship as a kid but could never afford it. Back then 200+ for a set was a lot rarer than it is now. Lego definitely were cheaper when I was younger, not by a whole not but also not by a negledgeable amount.
9:11 One the best part from this set it's thats is canon as fuck, for the same price you have seven droids vs four clones which is accurate knowing that clones troopers where always outnumber by the droids on the battlefield. And when you think about it the design of the clone's helmet is very accurate to the 2003 clone wars TV show.
The MTT really holds up well nowadays for a 2007 set

Nice. We’re the same age so we grew up with the same sets. I loved the original episode 3 sets so much. Only set on the list I don’t have is the Droid carrier. Excited for the new gunship
I remember choosing the venator over the at ot and i still regret that choice
I don’t have a gunship 😢 but hope it is another version, even if it is the scaled down version. Great video!!!
Man, the MTRV. Haven't heard that name in awhile, I still have 2 variants that I made back in the day.
Just got the cantina, can’t wait!
That turbo tank was such a fun set.
My first battle pack was the clone battle pack in spot number 5. My little brother got the droid battle pack at the time so we could battle it out
My list is
10. 8018 AAT
9. 7103 Yoda vs Dooku
8. 7655 and 7654 Clone and droid battlepack
7. 7259 Arc-170
6. 75054 At-At
5. 6211 Star destroyer
4. 7662 MTT
3. 8014 clone battlepack
2. 7261 Turbo tank
1. 7676 gunship
Man great list it's pretty close to my top ten too 🤣 I'm so happy you had that AAT in there!
Beautiful dramatic lighting for this video!
i personally would love to one day buy or build the ATOT for my own Lego army
My first lego set was those battle packs👀
