      Does Volvo owe me royalties?

      I do too sometimes hehe. I never thought the day would come but i've actually made the 300tdi quiet on purpose. I have a straight through exhaust pipe but installed a silencer just before departure. Something to do with getting older and more boring hehe.

    I don't think I'd be camping on the ice I would be afraid of me falling through the ice, but great video, stay safe and warm.

    • @Ricklandrover
      @Ricklandrover  3 года назад +1

      Thanks!! The ice there was around 80cm thick so even medium size trucks can drive over it. That eased my mind a bit 😉

      80cm is nearly three feet.

      That's mostly me being a nervous engineer hehe. Measuring the temperature of the gearboxes and diffs, checking oils levels, checking wheel bearings, greasing propshafts etc. etc.

      It ran absolutely great Kurt, very big difference from the B20. Much more torque, less fuel consumption and less maintenance.

    Crazy to think about that all the soil, water and rocks drifted from the Norwegian side during the last ice age. Basically Sweden belongs to Norway since everything originally came from Norway, including the vikings. Maybe Sweden should arrange a yearly gratitude day to thank Norway?
