I did this exactly like the video. When I save the fist view and get back in plane. When I hit the lead custom view. It moves me around the cockpit and not back outside the plane
Thanks for an invaluable set of tips for custom cameras. I've just tried it out and its working fine. My only gripe ( and there may be a fix, but I don't know) is that on exterior views into the aircraft , no pilot or co pilot can be seen. My aircraft a flying without anyone in the cockpit it looks so very strange. Otherwise from a passengers viewpoint it is brilliant !

So cool, thanks for this. I got through the settings, glitch - up to 4:53. Not sure why but I can't seem to save that outside view with bumpers + Y. Tried a few times, but it kicks back to default inside. I'll have to keep playing around, BUT I didn't know I could move around, 3:33 , get better views inside the cockpit at least. I admit I am totally new to XBox, FS, only 48 hours since I got this.. As for this Sim, it's absolutely incredible, and shocked well it performs on a console!

@@FishStakes I've tried a lot to find how I can change view on engine; also how I can land easily without jumping up and etc. And all this on Xbox gampad. Thanks a lot. And do you know how I can see atc speech in bottom of the screen without atc voice?
@@dmitrygurov unfortunately I’ve not found a way to do that yet, you can mute ATC but it also removes the subtitles, however you can’t pull up the chat log to see what they’ve said. That’s the best I can find atm
@@FishStakes i actually do have another question, if you don't mind? Can your explain to me what "Trim" is used for? And is it needed in landings? My landings are always terrible! I'm either way to fast on the approach (even with the flaps down) or I'm to slow and i get a stall warning, and when i finally do touch down, the plane bounces up off the runway. (What's the easiest plane to land?) I love the game with a passion, it's just soo hard lol

I wish there was a button prompt we could switch to a "showcase" camera just like we can for a chase camera. Its tedious to have to go through the upper menu and kinda ruins the flow if you are making video content.
Hey i dont know if you will even see this bein as the videos 2 yrs old. Anyways i just learned how to fly the cessna citation cj4. I play with a HOTAS 1 and a mouse. I got it cuz i fly the f18 more than anything. No controller no keyboard. But... i use my controller to set my seating views as passengers. I watched this video like a year ago and it worked great in the tbm 930. But for some reason i cant get in the back seat of the citation. I like to throw it on passenger if i get up to take to break during a long flight. Am i doin something wrong or xbox just dont want us in the backseat? I been on msfs for 3 yrs so im familiar with the sim. But any info would help. Thanks!
i usually play on cockpit view. but sometimes i change to outside camera to see the plane. is there a way do "hide" those information? like the engine % power, feet information and etc?
UPDATE: If you're having trouble "getting out of the plane", do the glitch, but then SAVE it as a Custom View, then ACTIVATE that Custom View, then you'll be "free to move about the plane" to save Views as you see fit. Hope this helps!
Great video! I have a question about thrustmaster airbus edition flight controllers. Can you use them on Xbox s/x ? Xbox will recognize them as controllers after connecting to USB on Xbox ? I have the problem that Xbox doesn’t accept the connection. And if you give me any advice or solution, it’d be so helpful. Thank you

I did it successfully for one flight then it now won't do it again even though I do the gotich once outside it won't save cameras or move

Hello I cannot open the toolbar from the cockpit because there is no cursor unless I am in external view. I am using xbox controller.
I can’t load it in whenever I press rb and lb and the up button on the pad it just moves me around the cockpit
To get under the plane did you use the drone option? Left Trigger doesn't seem to work. It's assigned to the drone settings.

How do you get to the camera option from inside the plane at 4:12 using the mouse pointer option? When i try to do it, it just moves the yoke for me
