I have been struggling with this issue for days, but I finally found the solution here. Thanks.

Love your style mate. I've watched (or attempted to watch) a couple of other tutorials, but they often don't flow, making it hard to follow it, have some microphone issue making it hard to understand, or assume the viewer is a bit slow, and it takes ages to get to the point. Yours is just the right clarity, speed, and with smooth flow.

It should be pointed out that any edits made to an instance name in an assembly breaks the default association between the instance name and the file name. In fact, if you edit an instance name once and then turn around and edit it again so as to have the same as the original (associated) name, this so called "normalized" result is still achieved.

Would this also work if I had sub-assemblies instead of individual parts within the top level iLogic assembly?

    Great video!
Is it possible to give a custom name and save it to a custom location before placing it in the assembly?
