My production is going to change forever! Not an over statement at all. I knew a few producers who used this, but until recently I was reminded of it, hearing Scott Storch say he uses it all the time. This plugin is a must! I’m buying.

This is an amazing plugin, this emulations came from Addictive Drums 2 FX efects rack, i think, they give a unique caharacter to drums unique to this instrument, and now we can use it in every track and with any DAW! good work!

Being a youth in the mid 70'sthis sounds awesome however still not a fan of scratches on my vinyl, just me lol!
I bought one a few months back, I use it on my master, as well as for saturation on by 808s and basses with high end elements.

Hi, I don’t know the exact instrument being used here but it sounds like it a triangle- mixed with a sawtooth-wave, and you should be able to achieve that with most synths. Hi, could you guys make a video or something about how to load 3rd party preset banks? I have purchased a preset bank however I can’t work out how to install it. There is a distinct lack of information on RUclips/google and it’s getting pretty frustrating! I imagine there’s other people with this problem so that would be great!

Sorry for the slow reply, I just got word back from the guy who made that track. The drums are from the Addictive Drums 2 expansion pack Reel Machines ADpak. The synth sounds are all from u-he Hive. The following Hive presets were used (with slight modifications): HS Base Five, HS Nineteen Eighty and ARK Pure Force. I hope that helps.

where is preset folder on mac?
Hi there! You should be able to find your presets in Library/Application Support/RC-20 Retro Color/userID. To access the Library folder on OS X, open Finder and navigate to "Go" in the top menu. Then hold down ALT and the library option should appear.

This plugin is amazingly great. BUT the stupid authorization method is not. RC20 would be a blind buy for me but I won't install a software to authorize it. It's there any chance you will change this someday? Where have all the good old personalized serials gone? The real cool guys out there still have them and give them to their customers.
Our Online Installer is meant to be an easy solution where you can download and authorize your products with one click, rather than keeping track on a bunch of serial numbers for each and every product you own.
@@xlnaudio okay and thank you for your reply. I do understand that from a developers point of view but think about if any company would do so. I still think it's not so user friendly and an online registration process...is that really needed. This always leaves a bad taste in your mouth you don't really own the software. I want to use it but at first someone has to look about it and approve that I actually can use it. What's when the servers are down or you change system or your company doesn't exist any more. Please have in mind that some of the best companies out there just give you a serial or a file, NO online validation process and some of the best tool makers even have absolutely NO protection system at all. Examples for the latter are Glitchmachines and Klanghelm and the first category examples are BOZ, Fabfilter, U-he, Tone 2, GForce, Madrona Labs and many many more. I really wonder why so many producers still are so afraid to really fully hand out the complete product inclusive free handling rights a customer did buy. I do not wish to be compromising. I want to show a way to get the trust and confidence of possible more new customers.
If someone wants to use a cracked version he will always do so. Whatever you do you can't prevent that. But trying so - totally unsuccessfully in my opinion - has the consequence to really annoy honest customers. And why all the restrictions on how many systems a VST may be installed? How big actually is the percentage of people who really buy more than one license if they have eg. more than 2 systems?

@@xlnaudio Honestly the only thing I think you guys could have (and would make it easier for me to buy the software, is a rent-to-own payment model. I can pay $8.99/month for a year but honestly one payment of $100 is a too much. Especially living and earning a Chilean-rate salary. In the meantime I'm trying to make as much music as possible while my trial lasts!
