Just recently picked up the new 12.9. I’ve had pitaka case on my iPhone 11 and their wireless car charger mount. Those two combined have been the best case I’ve ever had for my phones.
I have a Pitaka MagEZ Case for my 2020 iPad Pro 12.9. I like it but I feel that their 2 month warranty on many of their products is a bit short. Also the sides of the case near the open end are a bit thin and one side has broken. I noted on the Pitaka website that the iPad stand cannot use the first gen MagEZ case but you must have the second gen MagEZ case to use with the stand. They do have the two as a bundle. I also noted their return window is only 7 days as well. With my experience with the Pitaka MagEZ case combined with their very short warranty period I most likely will not purchase another of their products. Your mileage may vary.
Good to know! I didn’t realize how expensive the case is on it’s own until after I finished the video. I forgot to check. But yeah that is a lot of money for something that’s already breaking on you.
What if you put the sticker onto the iPad stand so the magnet side of the sticker attaches to your iPad instead? And every time when you remove your iPad from the stand the sticker will still be sticking onto the stand instead of your iPad?
Is MagEZ charging stand [Marble version] stable and doesn't fall down if we use an iPad pen/ballpoint tip to underline stuff? I use my iPad to research while writing assignments on my All-in-One computer or Surface Pro 7.
It doesn't really matter because it's not an iPad stand.. it's a tablet stand made for.. guess.. all tablets, not just 2021+ iPads "MagEZ Stand for Tablets"
I use Sandisk usb-c flash drive formatted in exfat filesystem to backup my iPad pro 2020 but transferring files from iPad to the flash drive is very very slow. I don't want to format it in apfs file system because it won't be readable on windows pcs. Is there a solution for faster file transfer or Are there certain types of flash drives or external ssds that can make me transfer files faster?
The Pitaka case on my 11" iPad Pro is perfect, it closes inside of the Magic Keyboard without any problems and offers excellent tactile feel over the bare, slippery iPad. Their Mag EZ line might be a little thicker though so it may not close flush with the MK.
Dont like this one. Wouldn’t adhere a cheap looking sticker to the back of my expensive iPad Pro. Why wouldn’t they use the magnets built into the iPad? I know they want to make it useable for other brands or lower end iPads. But to me it’s silly.

Very useful information. 2 month warranty at this price point is a non-starter for me.

One thing to note about the case + magic keyboard, you can't use a screen protector and that could be a reason why it may not close properly.

Agree. Had using cheap magnet stickies on my phone. The CharJenPro MagFlött Stand uses the built-in magnets.
