Such a lovely vlog! Thank you! I just finished rereading one of my favorite books from last year, The Screaming Staircase (Lockwood and Co book 1). A perfect book in my opinion, with lots of ghosts, conspiracies, swords, murder mysteries, haunted mansions and cups of tea. Highly recommend.
My heart ...I love you ladies!!! My 2 fav booktubers in the same video..on the same couch! 😍 aaahhhh! Overjoyed. Thank you Leora for sharing these precious moments. 💖
Just finished Golden Enclaves by Naomi Novik, didn't love it as much as the first 2 in the series but still enjoyed it. I hope you make a video where you speak all in Dutch and add captions on the bottom. I love hearing other languages. 📚 Happy reading.
I love these slice of life vlogs! AND seeing both Leo’s!! 😘 I’ve been reading The Girl and the Stars by Mark Lawrence - about 30% the way in and enjoying it so far! 🥰 📚
I’ve been wanting to get The Library or Shadows! It sounds great! Currently I’m reading A History of Fear and That Time I got Drunk and Saved A Demon. 📚 📖💜
I've been very particular lately, reading only what I want to read and not books I "need" to read (for book clubs or whatnot). I just finished A Fire Endless by Rebecca Ross and am happy to finish that duology. I also read two adorable manga this afternoon, Flying Witch Vol. 1 and 2. I'm slowly reading bits of a nonfiction book about working with Baba Yaga energy. Now I'm reading The Madness of Crowds by Louise Penny and as soon as I finish it, I just picked up Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross at my library and can't wait to find out what happened after recently reading Divine Rivals.
@@leoraaileen I do recommend both duologies. They are very different stories and world settings, but what was same was both stories were full of great characters and relationships (romantic and otherwise) and had such full ambience/vibe. It's very uncommon for me to be able to read so much of the same author in a row without losing the story because I get distracted noticing the writing style. I stayed fully immersed in the books. The vibes are sort of cozy fantasy overlaid onto high stakes fantasy. If that makes sense.
My best book of the year so far is A Restless Truth by Freya Marske it's a historical murder mystery on a boat with magic and a steamy sapphic romance!
Happy new year! As my first book of the year I' ve read The Bridge Kingdom which had been on my tbr for ages and currently I'm reading The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches using your beautiful witchy cat bookmark! 🥰📚📖☕🫖🔥🌨️☃️
Although I am always here for the book recommendations, would you give a recommendation for hair extensions? I have similar color hair to you and reds aren’t the easiest to find/match. Am in the US. Really enjoyed your video. Thanks so much!
I love watching your reading vlogs, they're so relaxing! I'm not really a romance girlie, but I can recommend "Cemetary Boys" by Aiden Thomas as a very good YA fantasy with a cute romance, and strong themes of family (found and otherwise), human connection, and acceptance. I just finished Ocean Vuong's "On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous" and now I'm reading "Night of the Witch" which is good, but not completely what I expected.
Cosy reading vlogs are my favourite. 📚

For a fantasy romance reco that sounds similar to the Bodyguard, you might enjoy Swordheart by T Kingfisher
please share if you find a fantasy romance with the vibes of the bodyguard!!
The Bodyguard sound good. I may check it out. I'm looking for something contemporary and quick to read.

The Bodyguard sounds really cute. I love the reason for the fake-dating too.

mine are from a dutch brand, Zascha Hair, so I'm not sure if that is helpful or if they ship to the US, but maybe they do? I do love them!
