My prevailing theory is that my sweet love Andreja is actually related to the founder of House Va’Ruun? That’s why she doesn’t have or use a last name outside of House Va’Ruun. I think we are going to get the revelation that she is estranged from her family but still has influence on some factions within the House. Like her family line was ousted or killed. I can’t wait to finally get more of House Va’Ruun. I also hope we get a number of new Trackers Alliance bounty missions. Honestly I hope we get a full on Trackers focused campaign DLC like Shattered Space in the future? One that allows us to actually utilize brigs and has dynamic gameplay moments of bounty’s trying to escape.
It'd be interesting to see her gain more influence House Varuun and try to reform it into something more moderate. I think she almost certainly has more links than we know. I hope she plays a big role and Bethesda don't neglect her.
Excellent analysis and prognostications. This is what drew me to the channel in the first place. I do hope that they go back to the phenomenal visual storytelling that we have seen in the past.
I want Bethesda to make more romance options not just in Shatter Space but overall in Starfield I hated that you can only romance constellation members the only thing I really want
The best Starfield channel on RUclips! Absolutely enjoyed learning about the lore of House Va'ruun! Well done friend! Can one travel to the Serpentis system now in the base game? What do you find? Can you land in Dasra?
Apparently the Va’ruun planet is going to be Serpentis IV, which has lots of red foliage and stormy weather right now for me, but Dazra seems to be staying well hidden!!
There's one dialog option I noticed, during the main story mission when you first encounter varuun with Sarah. If you have the trait you have more options than just creeping past them.
Something something there must be Unity shenanigans. The Great Serpent was first seen during a grav jump, and the Sanctum Universum books talk about something similar. I doubt it has to do with artifacts like on Nishina tho, we collected them all for the armillary. Maybe the Serpent is a ruse. Maybe it's cosmic horror with no explanation like the Fallout Dunwich stuff. The no gravity zones, the ghostly enemies, a lot of weird stuff in that trailer. Good breakdown btw, pretty much covered everything. Good idea about a possible Va'ruun colony ship.
You know.... I wonder if their entire concept of starfield is to have built a massive universe they can then make endless expansions that are simply set on one or two worlds or star systems each, fleshing out each while keeping the base universe design. That actually could make a ton of sense.
Overall I agree with you. It's going to be interesting imho. I also think the creation kit has the potential for a lot of amazing work. Though I also wish they'd maybe incorporate a time travel story to go back to the colony wars, I highly doubt it...... But hey, I'd pay money for a mod that did that.
Hopefully we'll finally get unique Va'ruun ships, ship parts, etc. Seeing a Deimos bridge overlooking part of the city has me a bit concerned we still might not get that.
18:06 While the cryotechnology would fit the NASA-punk theme of the game, its has little logical place in a world of Starfield. Before the discovery of the Grav drive, there was only a Mars colony, and maaaybe the Titan one (not sure about New Homestead founding date). Cryosleep was not needed, or atleast not mandatory to colonize these places. And then came the grav drive. Its hard to tell with the loading screen, but I think the game suggest its basically instatenous travel. Only ship that would really need the pods is the Constant, and the fact its generational ship instead suggests that the technology simply was not viable (keep in mind, while being scifi staple, so far we have no direct proof of cryogenic freezing of humans being possible and viable). Meta explanation is that with Fallout 4 and lately even the TV show, cryosleep has become a staple of Fallout franchise, and they wanted to keep Starfield thematicaly distinct.
They showed what looks like a laser minigun. Classic Bethesda keeping cards close to the chest I reckon we will see a dozen new weapons & a dozen new spacesuits. & don't forget..... there's a rover coming at some point!
Ngl, as much as I'm looking forward to the DLC I'm definitely not a fan of HV... I kinda hate their dogmatism, and I find them pretty annoying, ESPECIALLY Andreja... I was looking forward to finding out about them at launch, but roughly 600 hours later I think they're a bunch of doodoobutts. If they don't manage to change my mind about them by the end of Shattered Space I'm absolutely committing war crimes on their planet Andreja won't forgive me for in my next NG+ or the one after that
As long we don't get any " Put those posters on the wall" quests I'll be happy ^^ More weird space stuff and mysteries would be nice. A hint to the Creators perhaps ?
Im glad they focused kn story and area building but im a little disappointed it is one planet i wish it filled out maybe to some already know planets to some of the existing stuff could really use some updates
I don’t think they’ll ever touch up the ships again considering it gave them trouble during development of the base game and it pretty much does nothing for exploration and set piece combat
The fact the DLC expands on a faction that doesn't get much coverage in the main game, tells me this DLC is actually cut content. If there was already a lot of content for the faction, I would be less accusing.
It's just as likely that the DLC was conceived at the same time as the main game, and the lack of attention given House Va'ruun was deliberate from the start.
K gotta ask is it a expansion or a dlc? And for those that dont know there is a huge difference between what a expansion is and a dlc. Expansion is something we give to games like diablo 2 remember it continues the story of your character and if your big in the lore a must play but a dlc is more of a side story that has no weight on the story in large being its own little lore dump and normally (not always) doesnt have any changes to the main story. For more context the game the outer worlds dlc murder on something or other wasn't a must play dlc it gave you more info on the world of outer worlds but didn't have the slightest change in the main story and thats after i 100% the dlc twice just too see if it changes anything it didnt so thats just a dlc a expansion would be a epilogue or prequel. I know this was long but you kept changing what your calling it so is it a dlc or a expansion
To be honest I am not that interested in the DLC if all that is there is just the new story. I was hoping for some radical changes in the game itself, like they did with Cyberpunk; making some serious changes to add less loading screens and more animations in between to make everything more immersive. And hopefully larger maps now that they have a vehicle... Not a fan of the horror stuff; I bought Starfield because it is a sci-fi game focused on exploration, not because it is like Prey :D
I'm trying to comprehend whiney bitches who watch content and content creators for a game they don't like and or haven't played. Literally find it impossible to empathize because I can't imagine being similarly inclined😂 You know all the spiderman AC Valhalla videos I've watched? 0

Guess that could explain the alternate reality where she commands house varuun
@@duck_entertainment i totally forgot about that alt reality too!

Hopefully like Far Harbour. And by that I mean the Trolly Delima, on steroids.
Excellent analysis and prognostications. This is what drew me to the channel in the first place.

Dude, I've come to really enjoy your videos. Your explanations and insights are so good and valuable. Keep up the great work!

@@TheBlooMoose Ah I see. You can actually visit the planet. But Dasra city will be revealed once the DLC is installed. Thank you.

Quoting Serpents Embrace scriptures if I remember correctly.
The pods are full of synths the Argos miner is a descendant of the sole survivor Todd brought us all full circle
They are Synthborn.
What if they're forerunners in cryo pods? lol

I hope after the story is finished, there is still a lot to explore and do
i really like your videos man, i hope you keep making them
I love your approaches to all of this. Thank you.

Also your shirt 😂

Might have been the player's ship.
Every va'ruun ship i've seen (i think) was stroud eklund.

This was a really well made video. Im becoming a bigger fan of your vids
It wouldnt be surprised if the varuun/great serpent story hits similar beats to the zariman 10-0 incident in warframe
this guy has such a particular way of speaking, each pronunciation so precise.
The "ghost" creatures remind me of the same in Final Fantasy
They showed what looks like a laser minigun. Classic Bethesda keeping cards close to the chest
I reckon we will see a dozen new weapons & a dozen new spacesuits.
& don't forget..... there's a rover coming at some point!
The artist rendition of the great serpent was funny lol
I have huge fan theories
I Hope they bring allot of New gear
So if most thinks plays on the same planet it would mean that the Va'ruun background trait would be bad... since you wont jump around

Haha, agreed!
All extremist religions are dogmatic and annoying, for that matter.
This guy is really cool, I like his vids
Amazing
Keep it up dude ❤
It's the vanu sovereignty, freestar is NC and UC is TR
Think girl holding out her groat dagger is a young Andreja.
Bro only has 2 faces , "😳" or "😈"
Great vid sir
The gost thing look like the things that are off the movie spectral

I am now fully expecting someone in Dazra to ask us to put up Va’ruun space frog posters.
During the dlc i can assure you sam coe will be dead on every playthrough worst father ever and most ungrateful son in history for his own ego
I was hoping for a sentient alien race
Im glad they focused kn story and area building but im a little disappointed it is one planet i wish it filled out maybe to some already know planets to some of the existing stuff could really use some updates
I'm curious if you can learn more from having Serpents embrace and Kids stuff, Then going and talking to your parents. I'll have to give it a try!

What To Expect From Starfield: Shattered Space ???? DELAY , DELAY , DELAY ...................
This game is so washed, I regret dumping 100 hours on it
More lackluster storytelling
Hopefully not lol
